24.01.2022 Hi travellers, It's been an unprecedented day in the travel industry as the Prime Minister has just advised the nation to reconsider overseas travel. This is a rapidly evolving situation and our industry partners and suppliers are all preparing the latest policies and information in response to COVID-19, which has seen many travel suppliers suspend all tours and cruises with in Europe and in some cases globally. It is not pretty, the travel industry worldwide is literally on... its knees! Myself, Rebecca (who is looking after my business until September) and my head office support staff in Melbourne and the UK, are working around the clock to ensure all of our customers are well informed and looked after to the best of our abilities. As the policies are released from our suppliers we will be contacting those customers that are impacted (currently affected are those currently overseas or travelling with in the next 30 days). I would like to thank all my customers for their patience and understanding during this time. It is a distressing time for all involved especially those that are due to travel. Now more then ever we all need to come together to get through these difficult times to enter the new world of travel! ~ Hannah and Bec

23.01.2022 I'm back!! Hope all my followers and clients are doing OK during these times. Just letting you know I'm now back on deck and slowly getting through cancelled bookings and credits / refunds. This is little Beau, he's 3 months old now and was born right in the midst of the pandemic at home. When the world opens up again, and it's safe to travel, I'll be here. But until then look after yourselves and your loved ones and stay safe. To all of my valued clients who's travel plans h...ave been affected I'm so sorry. 16.01.2022 Do Not cancel your trip, change the date and save the tourism industry. This is the message everyone in the tourism industry is currently advising to all their clients and followers. In these times, most airlines and suppliers are only offering credits with no cancellation fees or reissue charges. As the situation is uncertain as to when it will be possible to travel again, the best option right now is to take the credit and wait. Wait until travel starts again and you are... ready to go somewhere - anywhere but the confines of your home! If you don't want to take this option and would prefer to get your money back, you need to understand that COVID-19 is no one's fault. Any cancellation fees as per terms and conditions of the suppliers will come to place even though your flight ha been cancelled, your tour cancelled, you're unable to travel due to government bans and use your pre-paid hotel. These are the rules. If everything was refunded there would be no travel industry in the future.... please let's not imagine that. By doing this you're keeping me in a job, you're keeping the airlines flying in the skies, the hotel doors opened, tours running again and every single person who is hired to work in the travel industry in a job in the future when all this has disappeared and normal life resumes. #TogetherInTravel #WeareTravelCounsellors

10.01.2022 Today is my Business Birthday I am so proud to be celebrating 3 amazing years of running my own business as an independent Travel Counsellor! Big thanks to all my loyal clients and network who have supported me over the last 3 years and to all my AMAZING travellers - I love watching you all take on the world! Thank you for allowing me the privilege to book your dream trips. ... Despite the present struggles the travel industry faces, I know we will get through this and I look forward to the next 3 years (and beyond!).
