17.01.2022 Dear our valued guests As we prepare to welcome you back to our premise, we want to assure you that our number one priority is the safety of our members and you, our valued guests. Our door will reopen from Monday 18th May and whist cleanliness and sanitation are always essential in food services, this is now exponentially more important that sanitation practices must be stepped up.... All our staff have completed the AHA Hospitality & Tourism COVID-19 Hygiene Course and there will at least 1 senior staff on duty, who have completed the Hygiene Officer Course. We will continue to maintain the highest standards of hygiene both personally and within our venues, including (but not limited to) the following. Working exclusion for unwell employees Increased cleaning and sanitising of all surfaces using heavier duty disinfectants Frequent, vigorous hand washing and sanitising Utilise technology- mobile ordering, contactless payment, digital staff communications- to reduce person-to-person contact Increase the use of disposable products Clean and sanitised menus between seatings Limit staff interactions Increased ventilation to bring in outdoor air and stove hoods regularly cleaned and disinfected Proper use of PPE to reduce risk that asymptomatic workers spreading the virus Hand sanitisers readily available throughout restaurant Whilst we appreciate you could all come out to support our restaurants but due to the restrictions of seating limit of only 20, we ask if you could consider visiting us outside peak periods. It is the utmost important that we turnaround tables as much as possible in order to be sufficient. We are open from 11am with last order at 9pm. Should you wish to visit us outside these hours please contact the store direct to enquire. Throughout the entire Hans Café Group, we are taking this issue very seriously and doing all we can to ensure our business continues safely for the sake of all patrons, staff and our local community. 04.01.2022 To our valued customers In response to the growing fears around the spread of COVID-19, we take this opportunity to reassure you and share the proactive measures we are currently undertaking to protect everyone.... Whilst we have always had rigorous health and hygiene practices at our restaurants, but due to the uncertainty and escalating nature of the current situation, we have implemented precautionary measures to ensure that these environments are safe. We are taking extra precautions to increase the frequency of disinfecting of all surfaces, in all areas, including disinfecting all in-house menus after each use. We have also placed hand sanitisers throughout our restaurant and antibacterial hand soap in all restrooms. Another precautionary measure is the inclusion of face masks to the proper uniform. Our staff, especially kitchen employees, are encouraged to wear face masks and practice the World Health Organisations standard infection control measures which are; Frequently cleaning hands by using alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water Covering mouth and nose with a flexed elbow or tissue when coughing or sneezing, and throwing the tissue away immediately Wash hands immediately after coughing or sneezing We also adhere to a strict wellness policy and have reinforced with our employees that they must stay at home if theyre showing any signs of illness. Before returning, they must produce a doctors certificate to show that they are fit and healthy for work. All our employees have not been outside Australia in the last 30 days. With COVID-19 evolving daily, it is only natural to retreat and stop doing the things we love, such as dining out. However, it is important that we continue to go out and support local businesses while it is safe to do so. Our hope is to continue to deliver exceptional dining experiences and to support the livelihood of our teams and suppliers. We are aligned with the Australian Government Department of Health fact sheets for COVID-19 and will continue to monitor global activity and taking advice from relevant government agencies and take actions to minimise the impacts COVID-19 Thank you for your understanding and support Hans Café Team
