23.01.2022 In Response to the overwhelming amout of interest in our new Octanote musical instruments, we have put together this video to demonstrate the range and provide an example of how teachers and music therapists can use the various instruments in ensemble settings! Colour coded music systems help students read, hear and identify musical patterns and intervals. Each colour represents a note in the C major Diatonic scale and allows anyone to play ensemble music before they are able... to recognise the notes on the staff. This helps students and players to develop note reading and aural skills in a fun and engaging environment. The Octanote range provides colour coded instruments of a superior quality to most generic choices on the market as each product is hand sourced and developed to give the best possible sound and durability. We often see customers wondering what to do with an old guitar that is not worth repairing, but too good to throw out. Well, how about some shelves, a pot planter or a even a wall decoration? (Great excuse to get out the tools & gardening gear during lock-down!)
18.01.2022 IMPORTANT UPDATE: We are sad to see that stage four restrictions will continue for retail stores for a little while yet, however we have fine tuned and finalised our click-and-collect protocol so that web orders can now be collected from our store in a safe manner. These drums (and heads) have been designed to withstand MEDICAL GRADE disinfectant meaning they can still be used in classes or therapy sessions and then completely sterilized between sessions or patients. We predict that this will become important as time progresses and businesses start to adapt to working in more stringent sanitary conditions. Contact us fo...r more info on these drums! 07.01.2022 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Dear valued customers. For the first time in over 40 years Hans Music will be closing our doors to the public as of Thursday this week. Whilst this is a very sad time for us, we are grateful to be able to continue to provide our community with goods and services through some of our other channels. Online orders... Our online web team will still be functioning as normal and all web (and eBay) orders will be dispatched each and every day over the next 6 week period. Contactless 'click and collect' Whilst contactless ‘click and collect’ seems to be allowed by the government for retail businesses, it is not yet clear how customers will be able to justify travelling to pick up non essential goods (described as any goods not from a supermarket, chemist, butcher, baker or newsagent). For the safety of our customers ‘click and collect’ orders will need to be assessed on an individual basis and will only be granted if we can see that the order directly facilitates essential study or education.
