25.01.2022 Congratulations to our new Black Belts who graded today at Hills PCYC. Sho Dan (1st degree) - Josh Hansen Ni Dan (2nd degree) - Luke Stuart San Dan (3rd degree) - Christopher Swalwell ... All three have been training hard both at our club and with the state grades panel on Friday nights for the past six weeks. Good luck to our kyu grades (coloured belts) who are currently practising for their next grading in 4 weeks time. Hopefully this will be you someday!

21.01.2022 Congratulations to all who graded today. Well done putting in the hard work to achieve your next belt and thanks to Abbie Ritchie for coming down just to support her team mates and be thrown. We have two more weeks of training this year to show off your new belts so see you all Tuesday and Thursday.

17.01.2022 What a night. Its been nearly 18 weeks since we last trained but there was still 32 people attend our first night back. Can't wait to see our Thursday classes back at DBay this week and Redcliffe next week. Don't forget to remind everyone to get along and if you have friends who would like to give it a go now is a great time to get started.

13.01.2022 To all Queensland competitive Judoka, after a meeting of the Judo Qld Board on the 4th of August, and after extensive consultations with Clubs, and national St...ake holders, to reduce health risks including virus transmissions the following Qld events have been cancelled for 2020. Australian National Championships will not go ahead. Gold Coast Open will not go ahead, Qld state champs in Cairns, has been rescheduled to April 2021. Lastly the Southern Qld Open at Lang Park has been cancelled. State Squad training North, and Southern Qld may go ahead strictly adhering to all industry plans precautions. 11.01.2022 Senior State Team Training With a return to State Training this Saturday the 8th August for our senior players, we would like everyone to review the following r...equirements and abide by the return to play criteria that’s in place and provide the safest environment possible for all. - All attendees must RSVP on Team App - All attendees must adhere to the Covid-19 return to play model and the venue COVID safe plan. - If you have been to any of the identified hotspots that were recently made public by QLD Health, you must not attend state training. - If you have any flu-like symptoms or feel unwell, you must not attend state training. - If you have been in direct contact with a known case of Covid-19 within the last 14 days, you must not attend state training. - All off-mat attendees must follow social distancing guidelines. Some people maybe feeling anxious about returning to State Training so even if you meet all of the previous criteria, and you still feel uncomfortable about attending state training then please reply No to RSVP and attend club training instead". Then he developed the concept further, under the aegis of the French Judo Federation.
