18.01.2022 Deciding to seek help can be one of the hardest steps to take and not connecting with your mental health professional can quickly derail this courageous decision. I dreaded seeing my psychiatrist when I first sought help and I was very uncomfortable opening up, but with a change in psychologist, a correct dose of medication and a new outlook things started to get better. Treatment is challenging and you must persist, but working with the right person makes it manageable. One bad experience isn't an indication of someone being untreatable, it may just not be the right fit.
