22.01.2022 Hi everyone just a reminder when we are pedestrians we are very scary creatures to drivers!!!!!Try to stay on the footpath when walking..Not in the middle of the road.. Sometimes drivers cannot see you eg coming around a bend.....they move to the right..another car is coming in the opposite direction and what could happen is the poor driver ends up in a head on collision..Please THINK about where you are walking and be safe.. Remember when you open yours doors LOOK first befo...re getting out of your car. Reminder to cyclists.. Check your blind spots before changing direction on the road..and if possible use hand signals to show motorists which direction you are going.. Remember you do not have protection..not like cars.. Have an amazing week everyone..Be safe and have fun

21.01.2022 Remember Always look !!!!...As a pedestrian move off the road especially in country area's when a car is approaching..Or when driving a vehicle look ahead to plan your trip and check your blind spots..There could be something or someone next to you...IT DOESN'T COST YOU ANYTHING TO LOOK.............But will save lives..Be safe and keep everyone safe!!!!!.....Have a fantastic week..

09.01.2022 Just one more very basic rule that applies especially around our local areas..eg suburbs with not many road markings.... NO painted lines on the road.. This is the fine and demerit points you lose!!... KEEPING LEFT Not keep left of centre on two-way road $344 2 Road Rules 2014 Rule 132 (1) When I teach my students I always say..Visualise the Centre o the road and keep left of it......You are breaking the law if you drive down the wrong side of the road!! This is a reminder to all of us..Just maintain your correct positioning on the road.. Have a great day!! Be safe...and be the best you can be!!

07.01.2022 I can’t believe my baby girl got her L’s today. It was joy and fear all rolled into one I’m honestly so lucky that I have a mum that has a driving school Hap...piness Driving School and yes I had to give her a plug. Ebonie Moses is having her first lesson as I write this post and all I can say is I’m so glad she’s not in my car See more

07.01.2022 Cathie is friendly, hilarious and very well educated on all of the road rules. She is incredibly thorough in her teaching style and as a result, is she well known among the local area for creating safe drivers.

07.01.2022 Hello everyone..I am loving being an Aged Assessor in Nelson Bay and surrounding areas!!!...I tested an gentleman who has just turned 97..Yes..97..He was one of the best drivers I have ever tested...... The way it works is..Instead of the elderly having to attend a Service Centre (old RTA) .... Having to do a driving test after 50 years or more..Feeling very very Nervous.. I pick them up from their home, assess them in a relaxed environment ..Then drop them home after the tes...t has been completed..98% of the time they don't even have to go back to the Service Centre..eg I am able to update their results for them...I just love it. Have a great Sunday..Be safe and have lots of fun!!

01.01.2022 NSW Road Safety - NSW GOV Sponsored With more meals being delivered door to door, let’s do everything we can to help keep delivery riders and drivers safe when they’re out on the road. So when you're driving near bicycle riders remember to allow a distance of at least:... - 1 metre when the speed limit is 60km/h or less - 1.5 metres when the speed limit is more than 60km/h And don't forget, motorcyclists and bicycle riders can be hard to see! So always check your blind spots. #ContinueTowardsZero
