19.01.2022 Hi everyone While on holidays I reflected a lot on life as a journey and how grateful I am for everything the universe has placed in my life. Allowing myself to be open to new ideas, that is how I feel about alternative methods of healing and how blessed I am to work with my wife in such an amazing industry that can really make a difference in others lives. Shea Healing is an amazing place, we offer Therapeutic and Relaxation massage, Bowen therapy, Clinical reflexology a...nd my favourite Reiki. One of my favourite things about working at Shea Healing is meeting individuals such as yourselves, connecting with you on a deeper level. At this stage our associations have inform us that we may stay open under the clause ‘Therapeutic and Remedial Massage’ and ‘Clinical Reflexology’, as such we have decided to remain open at this stage. 10.01.2022 News Update - Victoria and New South Wales Reflexologists Recent changes to the Victorian Health and New South Wales websites have emerged and each State have now differentiated between therapies for relaxation or beauty and those therapies for remedial and therapeutic benefit. This means should a Reflexologist in Vic or NSW wish to resume practice they can. NSW Health - Permitted Healthcare Services Vic Health - Personal Services Prohibited (excluding therapeutic or remedia...l massage) Queensland Health remains unchanged - only those registered under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law can continue services at present. NT Health remains unchanged - only allied health services can continue at present. We encourage all of our members to continue to follow both National and State Department of Health webpages to keep up-to-date with changes on COVID-19 as they occur. It is important to note that Associations have no legal authority to tell you to open or close. We can only provide members with the guidance and advice from confirmed sources which we will continue to do. At times these updates between Federal and State have been confusing and difficult for us to provide a clear directive to members, however, we strive to confirm our information and give clarity to members when we are able to.
