18.01.2022 Today has been a Marley and Me kind of day. First Minnie Mae chewed all the wires that connect water to our house, this requires an electrician to repair it. Second Minnie Mae had to go to the Vet and she terrorised the place so badly the ladies with their fluffy dogs and the receptionist stood behind the counter glaring at us and said "We suggest you take THAT dog and THOSE children to the car and come back and pay". Third we have to try and keep Minnie Mae still for 10 days to see if her limp will heal :D Anybody want an adorable family pet dog?

13.01.2022 Excitement on the home front yesterday, we experienced our first fire at Herbgully (the neighbours burning off got a little out of control). It was amazing to see the rural fire brigades come across paddocks in every direction, cut our fences and control the fire. Craig was very heroic too - who knew he has his own fire fighting equipment in the shed!!

04.01.2022 Just saw my first brown snake at Herbgully :-/ Minnie Mae went hysterical but Gilbert remained calm and stately, so I trusted him that we were in no real danger. Sage told me it is probably under the steps waiting to get us - that helped the situation no end. No more bare feet, thongs or sandals at Herbgully anymore :'(
