07.01.2022 HERBS FOR HARM REDUCTION When presenting at the HR 19 the International Harm Reduction Conference in Porto Portugal this month I was alarmed (but not surprised)... to discover that literally no one recognised the potential of natural herbs in interrupting and reducing the harm of drugs of abuse and addiction. I printed out and distributed the below copies from my book ‘Happy High Herbs’ to help inform delegates at the conference. I was pleased to see that the some of the group which included NGOs, politicians and U.N. members were interested in alternative harm reduction methods. To my disappointment the majority there seemed to prefer the status quo- some to keep their jobs in ineffective drug therapy and advocacy, the others paying lip service, seemingly comfortable with their own personal addictions.
