25.01.2022 Good afternoon everybody. How is everyones weekend going? This week at Larysas Family Day Care we visited the awesome playgroup at the Anglican Church. The children really got into the spirit of the play, showing great communication skills, sharing the toys and taking turns in all the excellent games. ... We are very grateful to the wonderful volunteers for a fantastic day! We cant wait to see you all again next week.

23.01.2022 Hi Everyone. Just wanted to give a quick update about what we have been getting up to at Larysas Family Day Care over the last couple of weeks. We had a lot of fun at the Pirate Park, playing with our friends on the fantastic play equipment. When we work up an appetite playing and being active at one of the local parks, we sometimes like to stop for some hot chips. At the local play group, we celebrated Easter early with a chocolate egg hunt, themed arts and craft activities, and finished off the day with some delicious cake.

22.01.2022 Hi Everyone. Is everyone getting into the spirit of St. Patricks Day today? Here at Larysas Family Day Care we celebrated the holiday a little earlier. These three little leprechauns went on a treasure hunt for a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow on Friday morning and found themselves some magical play dough wands. ... After all that adventure they were tired and hungry, so we decided to keep the morning tea on theme, and had a variety of green foods.

20.01.2022 Hi Everyone. This week the children from Larysas Family Day Care travelled to the Narrabri Toy Library to take part in their exciting local playgroup. The children practiced their engineering skills, building damns and watering holes to help our native animals through the hot weather.

19.01.2022 Hi Everyone. Here at Larysas Family Day Care we may have engineers in the making. Last Thursday while on our way to the local toy library play group, the children noticed some construction going on nearby and were immediately hooked by all the action. The boys then proceeded to play construction foremen, direction the flow of traffic and work, inspecting the equipment, and giving orders to the workers (all from a safe distance, of course).

18.01.2022 Good afternoon everybody. The kids at Larysas Family Day Care had an awesome adventure at the local park on Friday! It was a beautiful day out, and while paying in the playground, one of the children pointed over to the fort and said "Look at that space ship". It took a moment for the others to catch up to the idea, but soon enough they were all taking turns being captains of a space ship steering through an asteroid belt one minute and navigating choppy sea waters the next. It was all fun and games until there was mutiny on the ship, and everybody decided to move onto the next game.

18.01.2022 An update from Larysas Family Day Care. Even though it is hot outside, we are still able to enjoy the sensory play of a sandpit (but with rice) indoors, where it is nice and cool, and it lets us have fun and develop different skills.

12.01.2022 I am so proud of the children in my care , Happy Kids Larysas Family Day Care!!! They are so creative and are really getting into the festive mood!!! Last week they decorated these ginger bread men all by themselves! The youngest one is 12 months old and he did his best decorating the cookies with his fingers, while the older children used the icing tubes to decorate theirs. Dont they look great!

11.01.2022 Hi everyone. We just wanted to share a fun memory from last week. The children from Happy Kids Larysas Family Day Care had another fun filled pre-Christmas excursion to the town library. ... The kids had a great time listening to fun Christmas stories and tales. Even the youngest member of our group, a little 12 months old boy, was loving every second of our time there. After story time, we had a blast making miniature Christmas trees and decorations.

04.01.2022 Hi Everyone. Happy Kids Larysas Family Day Care children wanted to share a memory from a wonderful time that we had at The Bee-Hive playgroup. There were lots of fun and stimulating activities, fun music, and delicious morning tea for the children. We would like to thank Annette and Renee for organizing and inviting us to this wonderful event.
