Recently those restrictions are starting to ease and slowly be lifted. 21.01.2022 On Sunday 7th January, Ally from our Evans Head Practice attended the annual Club Day at the Woodburn Evans Head Golf Club. This was a social event attracting mostly locals with attendance totaling 70 on the day. The club were able to provide a gazebo and a large eski and helped Ally to set up the Happy Smiles Watering Hole. Ally supplied a novelty gift of candy teeth which were presented in a bag with a Happy Smiles business card and stapled to the score card for each team along with a bottle of cold water for the people competing in the event. This was a great turn out and a great way to promote our Happy Smiles Practices! All staff in attendance, along with the competitors of the competition all had a great day.

Therefore although we are open, we are working in a limited capacity. We have been calling many of you to cancel your non-urgent appointments over the last few days to give priority to those in pain who need urgent treatment. 06.01.2022 We’d like to inform all our patients that we are open and taking appointments at this stage. It is a constantly evolving situation and we will be guided by the decisions made by governing authorities. Our clinics have always maintained hygiene and cross contamination protocols but we have implemented additional changes keeping the safety of our patients and staff as our primary concern. We are trying our best to schedule appointments so that there are no more than 1-3 patien...ts at any given time in the waiting room. If you are early for your appointment, please wait in the car instead of the reception if possible. In the reception area you may notice that we are constantly wiping down surfaces, including desks, door handles, EFTPOS machines and waiting room chairs. Please ensure you are using the hand sanitiser provided when entering the practice, before and after your appointment. We have removed all magazines and toys for safety reasons and have also removed reception waiting room chairs to ensure the social distancing practices are in place. We ask that if you are feeling unwell, have been overseas in the last 14 days or have been in contact with someone who has suspected or confirmed case of Covid-19 to please cancel your appointment and not come into our practice.
