19.01.2022 What a difference 24 hours can make! We are currently unsure of whether we can open our club courts for people to have a casual hit from tomorrow and will let you know as soon as we have clarification. The community courts will be open for anyone who wants a hit. There is still no competition or organised social tennis until after midnight on November 30 at this stage.
16.01.2022 We urgently need people to help out with our Bunnings BBQ fundraiser this Sunday at the Reynella Bunnings. If you can help out anytime between 8-5pm please comment below.

09.01.2022 Advice from Tennis SA just received and emailed to all members - all community organised tennis is cancelled for the next 2 weeks. This includes our organised social tennis and all competition tennis. All group coaching is cancelled but individual coaching should still be able to go ahead. Simon is waiting on advice about this and will contact those affected. The courts will still be open for a casual hit but please follow social distancing rules and stay safe.
06.01.2022 Happy Valley Tennis Club is proud to be a part of this great initiative by Tennis SA. We are holding our Come and Try Day next Saturday September 19 from 9am-12.30pm. Why not come along and see what a great game tennis is! A BBQ will be provided and for any younger kids wanting to try tennis we will have a Hot Shots court set up and you can have a hit using our Hotshot racquets for free! Hope to see you there!!

02.01.2022 It was a huge day on Saturday for the Club! Four premierships won and three runners up! This was followed by our Presentation Night which was hugely successful and a bit emotional! Thanks to everyone who came along and a HUGE thankyou to Angela Hogg our new canteen manager who we threw in the deep end and she came up swimming! She worked tirelessly on Saturday and we all appreciate her efforts! Thanks also to Fiona Hudson and Renee Freeman who made some yummy desserts for ...everyone! Thanks to Simon, Glenn, Mike, Kendra and Fiona who all helped out as well to get everyone fed in these different times. Congratulations to all of our Most Consistent trophy winners (listed below). If you were not there on the night please arrange with Simon or Mike to collect your trophy from the Clubrooms. Congratulations to Keith Pike our newest life member. Keith has been a long serving member of the tennis club, being a committee member for 13 years, senior co-ordinator for 10 years, and major sponsor of the Club for many years. We sincerely thank Keith for his service to our Club and are proud to reward him with this award. A sincere thankyou to the Manthorpe family for coming along and allowing us to present to everyone our newest award the "Smile More Award" named in honour of their son Khye who was tragically taken from us just over a year ago. His memory lives on in this trophy which epitomises what Khye was all about - playing a game that he loved and having fun while doing so! Again thanks to everyone who played this winter season under different circumstances due to COVID restrictions and to those who were willing to play in teams that were structured a little differently this season but which meant that everyone who wanted to could play. Thanks to Kendra our Junior Score Recording Secretary, Simon, Sue and Mike our Junior and Senior Co-ordinators, all of the parents who helped out in the canteen or as team managers and our Committee. We couldn't put teams on the court without everyone's help! We look forward to seeing you all again for the Summer Season!
