25.01.2022 This week I have embraced being the out of work mum and new head mistress. One thing I’ve learnt about my kids is that they are all amazingly smart, beautiful inside and out, talented, imaginative and the best part is I’ve been able to watch it all first hand! They have re-embraced nature, created their own theme park rides, written short stories, recited times tables, baked, coloured, built and done it all together. It was hard to wake up one day and find myself without work.. but the reward of getting to know these kids in a way I hadn’t already has been worth the sadness and stress. May you all get to see a new side to your babies over this time of sadness and uncertainty and let it fill you with love and pride
