18.01.2022 I have noticed between the days that I am not in the best spirits, and the state of my home. Everyone has those days where you feel stresses, and like you have more work to accomplish than there are hours in the day. Typically, on these days, you will find that everything that can go wrong will go wrong. You wake up late for work, get stuck in traffic, have a pile of work on your desk, your sitter is sickand the list goes on and on. You may be wondering what this has to do w...ith the state of your home. On days like this, I can look around my home and see that the dishes need to be done, laundry is piled up, and the area that is supposed to be my peaceful sanctuary is cluttered. For most people, their home becomes cluttered because they do not have the time to keep up with everything during a busy week. However, I have notice that my mind tends to work in reverse. If my home is cluttered, then so is my mind. If I wake up in the morning to the house not being cared for, then it sets the tone for my day (which is also cluttered and stressful). I take solace in waking in the morning to a clean home. It does not necessarily have to be dust free, but I like to have the typical daily chores taken care of the night before. By doing this, each morning, I am starting my day fresh. I don’t have the worries of yesterday weighing on me because I took care of them when they came up. Starting the day with a clean slate is one of the best things that I can do for myself. I don’t know anyone that enjoys waking in the morning to a pile of work that is left over from the day before. A clean home is a clear mind, and you can start your day refreshed, and on the right foot.
