19.01.2022 Most non retired full time travellers work as they go. We are very fortunate to have self funded our last 2 years traveling without work. We are working now and you know what? It is not too bad. We have been doing this for quite a few weeks and will continue for a little bit longer before we hit the road again. There is plenty of time for us to see the rest of Aus. Happy Friday Everyone

19.01.2022 The Krefft turtles of unique 90-hectare natural wetland which is home to over 245 species of birds, native Australian wildlife and numerous tropical plant species. Take a leisurely stroll along the four kilometres of walkways and stop along the way to enjoy the lookouts and viewing platforms.

18.01.2022 With Christmas fast approaching in these Covid times, more of us are looking for online gift ideas. I found this great country Victorian online store with lots of gift ideas for our traveling family and friends. Take a look for yourself. https://www.adventureawaits.com.au/

16.01.2022 Even though we are stationary for a while for work, we can still appreciate the small things around us. Most people do not take the time to look up. This scene means nothing in daylight, but late at night the sky comes to life! Remember to look up from time to time, guaranteed you will be much more at ease with your life realising how insignificant we are in this universe Happy Friday Everyone!

14.01.2022 30 years today! To celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary we will be leaving the caravan for the night and staying somewhere a little bit special. We will disclose location and pics tomorrow.

10.01.2022 Yet another amazing artwork in the little town of Lockhart, NSW. You can easily spend a few days here, there are so many interesting things to see Happy Friday Everyone!

09.01.2022 Let’s hear from those living in Metro Melbourne. Today is the end of your first weekend out of lockdown! Did you go away? Tell us where you escaped to

09.01.2022 I wrote this blog two years ago. It explains how we made our decision to take a Gap Year Those of you who want to do what we are doing might like to have a read. FYI: Our Gap Year has turned into 2, and is still going.... We have traveled 75 thousand Km’s. It has been an awesome experience! We visit home every few months, as originally planned, and everything is running smoothly at home. We have recently found our first job while on the road. Our decision to travel full time was the right decision for us. Hoping our story helps to make your decision easier.

08.01.2022 I think these could be the most unique portraits we have ever seen! Greg Norman, Ita Buttrose and Paul Hogan are just a few of the amazing portraits by Doris Golder on display at Lockhart Museum. These artworks are created from Australian wool! No dyes! Just pure Australian wool from varying coloured sheep! Yep .... Who would have thought? I am in absolute awe! We have so many creative and talented artists here in Australia. ... Happy Friday Everyone. Visit Lockhart Shire See more

06.01.2022 Working in full sun on days with regular temps in the high 30’s means lots of hydration! A combination of ice water, lemon flavoured water, straight water and Hydrolyte is standard for Glenn. I am lucky to be working inside most of the day, so just water for me. Temps are expected to be 44 degrees by Saturday so Glenn will need to add more than this to his standard hydration regime. Australian heat is pretty full on! ... And we have not even hit summer yet See more

06.01.2022 We spoiled ourselves with an overnight stay at Old Howlong Post Office to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. The post office has been beautifully restored and transformed into a gorgeous bed and breakfast, set amongst a well maintained cottage garden. Our friendly host, Christine, made us very welcome. This morning she even cooked us a breakfast large enough to sustain us all day! .... still full at 5pm If you feel the need to be spoiled, you won’t go wrong with a st...ay here! Even though we are Happy Campers, a little luxury is nice sometimes.

04.01.2022 There is lots of activity happening next to our campsite. Big plans at Urana Caravan Park to extend the camp kitchen and build a deck out over the water! We have the perfect camp site to be entertained in a very different way to our usual. Given that we have set up here while we are working, we might even get to benefit from the finished product soon

03.01.2022 With Australia Day just a few days away, many towns are preparing for their celebrations. If you are near Newcastle, Fort Scratchley Historic Site is preparing to fire their guns on Tuesday! Do you have plans to participate in your local celebrations this Australia Day? Happy Friday Everyone
