25.01.2022 MUMS - they do so much for their family! Heres a lovely LEGO flower that a client made lovingly for his mum.

24.01.2022 What have the clinicians been up to, you ask? Better not "Lego" of the idea that Dora is a more than competent builder!

24.01.2022 Doras Lego is going well...and so is our Zoom Brickmasters group!

24.01.2022 Who wears it best? Find out at our PYJAMA PARTY, starting Monday! Kids can wear their pyjamas to sessions!

23.01.2022 Shout out to all the mums out there - youre all AMAZING! Becs going to use Zoom to tell that to her mum tomorrow.

23.01.2022 Happy Chatter is CLOSED for calls and emails from Mon 21st Sept (today) and will reopen on Thursday 24th September. We're taking a break and we hope you can too!

21.01.2022 FUN WITH LEGO: Make something that can FLY!

21.01.2022 We are so EXCITED to show you our new themed group sessions! Hopefully we can run them these holidays...but in the meantime, let us know which ones tickle your fancy so we can prepare!

21.01.2022 For all of you who are waiting patiently, we can confirm that traces of the Easter Bunny has been sighted at Happy Chatter. Keep a sharp eye out for Easter eggs on Sunday, he definitely found some tricky spots for our Easter Egg hunt this year! Term 1 is almost done and what a way to celebrate than spending time with family and eating bags of chocolate! The clinic will be closed from Friday 2 April to Monday 5 April for the Easter break. We will be back on Tuesday 6 April fo...r Seedlings and Little Explorers. Don’t forget, we’re running our Holiday timetable over the school holidays and regular sessions for Term 2 will recommence Monday 19 April. Happy Easter everyone!

21.01.2022 Clare cant wait to play BED BUGS with you all! Its trickier than it looks. I say thats because Im laughing too hard. She says its because I need to practise my fine motor skills. Theres no need to "OT me" Clare, I can pick the bugs up off the floor just fine.

21.01.2022 Remembering our group days... When we can have groups again, we'll be ready!

21.01.2022 Just a heads up to all of our clients coming in today. Boronia Rd is closed between Scoresby Rd and Dorset Rd due to powerlines across the road near the Boronia Woolworths. Police are around directing traffic so expect delays and possible detours if you're in the area this morning. Stay safe everyone!

20.01.2022 If your kids are drawing on paths with chalk, just know they are definitely making someones day as they spot them on their daily walks.

19.01.2022 Working in pyjamas should be compulsory. There are TWO DAYS LEFT in Pyjama Party week and to be honest I can see it continuing into the holidays...

18.01.2022 Sessions will continue on Monday and Tuesday as booked, unless otherwise notified. Well be in touch via email to let you all know of our Stage 4 plan! Stay safe, everyone.

17.01.2022 We may have been VERY BUSY during Occupational Therapy week, but it doesn't mean our resident OT Clare wasn't enjoying herself! Look at Clare's gross motor skills in action!

17.01.2022 School Holidays are just around the corner and you know what that means Group Programs! We are running 4 programs over Easter: Seedlings, Play Time, Little Explorers and Adventurers. ... Seedlings and Play Time is for our younger clients and will provide plenty of opportunities for Social Interaction and Play. There are 4 times available, and we require a minimum attendance of 2 sessions. Little Explorers and Adventurers is for our older clients and will focus on Social Skills as well as Structured Activities and Games. There are 5 times available, and we require a minimum attendance of 3 sessions. Your clinician will recommend which Program would be best suited to your child at their next appointment. We will be taking bookings up until 4:00pm, Friday the 26th of March to make sure we have plenty of time to finalise everything before the Easter Bunny visits. Please give us a call if you have any questions, we would hate for anyone to miss out. When you are ready to book, please email the details to [email protected] or give us a call on 03 9761 3653. We can’t wait to see what shenanigans you lot get up to this time around!

14.01.2022 We are still running and can offer therapy solutions. Check your emails everyone! Telehealth options are available - the clinicians are well-practised with Zoom and are happy to provide support over the phone in place of a face-to-face appointment. We can also provide SPOT packs for our clients who wish to stay home.... For those wishing to continue face-to-face sessions, you are more than welcome. We are doing our part to minimise the risk of infection as much as possible. Please read your email to familiarise yourselves with the new rules regarding entrances and client-only attendance. If you didnt receive the email or you have questions, please contact us on 9761 3653. We are here to support you however we can! Stay safe everyone!

13.01.2022 Now that we're out and about, here's a friendly reminder to drive safely and get your car serviced by a: MECHANIC. ...In person, though...not via Zoom.

13.01.2022 Look whose letter just arrived in the post! "To my friends at Happy Chatter, I have been staying with my friend in the snow! We are staying at his house to be SAFE. There is a lot of snow because we are in the mountains. My friends name is OLAF. We both love warm hugs so much. We make snowpeople and play snowball fights! We stay close to Olafs house. If it is too cold we pay Hide and Seek and Uno and Charades.... What is your favorite game to play at home? Love from CHATTERBEAR!!!!" See more

03.01.2022 Still having fun on our walks...what have you seen lately? Anything as interesting as this? Thought not. This is the COOLEST.

03.01.2022 We highly recommend everyone follow our example and take even 10 minutes to ignore emails, calls and obligations, if you can. Its amazing what scheduled fun can do for your wellbeing! Today we played some games hosted by Andy from AmazingCo on Zoom, followed by some sunshine! Can you spot your therapist? Back to work now, with recharged batteries (and possibly stuffed with snacks).
