23.01.2022 We have some new additions to our Pre Kinder/Kindergarten Yard! 3 baby birds nestled in the bush waiting for their mumma to bring them back lunch. Aren’t they just divine? We will get to watch them grow, learn to fly and then leave their nest. This will open up some amazing conversations with the children that will build on their understanding of life cycles, animals development and perfectly suited natural habitats like this that keep babies safe from prey.

This is why, for the month of October, we will be raising awareness by painting our nails blue from the campaign Polished Man. 17.01.2022 1 more sleep! This week we have been celebrating one of our favourite times of the year! We have had visits from Santa, discos, yummy cooking classes and today we are having our annual Christmas lunch! What a year it has been, we are so thankful to be here today, celebrating Christmas with our Happy Feet Family!

12.01.2022 Happy Feet Melton have a funded 4-year old Kindergarten Program and are seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our Kindergarten team in 2021. We are looking for a qualified Kindergarten teacher that will embrace our Happy Feet values and is prepared to share their unique skills and talents and have a commitment to Early Childhood education. The Kinder position is a full time position from 8.30-5pm. Qualifications & experience: Bachelor of Early Childhood Educat...ion or an ACECQA approved education qualification Current VIT registration (either Provisional or full) Victorian WWCC Ideally 1-2 years teaching experience in long day care setting, but new graduates encouraged to apply Knowledge in the children service Act & Regs, the NQS & VEYDLF Current first aid Training Child safety standards including child protection and reportable conduct scheme School readiness programs and positive transition to school and early planning strategies Task & responsibilities: Implement a quality educational program reflective of the principles, practices and outcomes in EYLF & VEYDLF Promote the health & safety of children and staff Actively engage with families and the local community to for collaborative relationships Critically reflect and contribute to centre QIP. 12.01.2022 We are now taking expressions of interest for our Kinder room for 2021. Our Kindergarten room holds 33 children per day and the funded kinder program runs from Monday Thursday with Fridays being a non-contact day for our Kinder teacher, Courtney.
