24.01.2022 Melbourne you rock! . . Sending you all so much love as your littlest ones head back to school today, after so much time in lockdown and remote learning. .... . To all the parents and caregivers. You are incredible. You rock. What you have managed to endure whilst nurturing your little loves is super human. I hope that this time can show you just what you are capable of- never allow yourself to be underestimated again- by yourself or others. But go gently this week. It’s exciting, and a relief, but you’re also running on empty, and it will be tiring, getting back into routine. Rejoice, rest and recuperate. . . To all the little loves... enjoy. You are incredible. You truly rock. You have all been, so brave, so resilient and so understanding of a situation none of us can truly grasp. We are all so incredibly proud of you all. Enjoy the heck out of this week, seeing friendly faces, and getting back into your school communities. You might get tired, social interactions can be after so long in isolation, but be gentle, be kind, and enjoy the small things. You are all so loved. . . To all the teachers and educators. You rock. What you have managed to facilitate over the last 6 months is nothing short of incredible. So much time, care and love, and it has been felt and appreciated. Thank you so very much for everything you have done and everything you will continue to do under these exceptional circumstances to comfort, care and teach our children. And if you already believe in your awesomeness, sweet, high fives!... now awesome be more awesome. . Today my kiddos have a very special ‘be awesome’ day at school. In memory of one heck of a human. That was his motto. He inspired so so many and had such an immeasurable impact on so many kids- and our entire community. So today, they are celebrating this incredible person, by enjoying fun, silliness and cheekiness in the most colourful and joyful way possible. All whilst raising money for a @kidneyhealth Kidney . So today, I urge you. Have fun. Find the joy in the small things. Never miss an opportunity to laugh. Enjoy those around you and most importantly- register as an organ donor. It’s super easy, but I’ll pop a link in my stories to make it even easier. . Xoxo

10.01.2022 Today is world mental health day, marking the beginning of mental health week. . Today is a day to raise awareness for mental health issues and mobilise efforts in mental health support. . But everyday is a day to check in on your mental health. We all have it- sometimes it’s great, and sometimes, well, it can feel pretty grim. ... . . It is really important (especially in this crazy climate) that we not only check in with ourselves and our loved ones, acknowledge those thoughts and feelings that may be hindering you, but we also need to talk about it. Ask for help, offer help and let’s get rid of the ridiculous stigma around mental health issues. . So, how are you? Really? It’s been a difficult year, so you’re likely feeling the weight, feeling a little more emotional, a little more sensitive and that’s ok. But if it is feeling too heavy to carry on your own, please reach out. . Mental health is something we have to take care of and nurture. Remi the Reindeer: Gingerbread scented Playdough Remi is a caring, cheerful and excitable sole, who loves the magic of Christmas. Whilst still in the junior ranks at the North Pole, Remi is hopeful to one day, get a turn at helping Santa circumnavigate the world on Christmas Eve. In the meantime, Remi loves helping out around the North Pole, assisting the elves, Santa and Mrs. Claus at any opportunity, truly a valued member of the team.
