19.01.2022 Hi everyone, I haven't been around this grid for a little while and I apologise for the absence of woolen photos and thoughts. I have just been struggling a bit with mental and physical wellbeing in the last few weeks. I think I sort of reached the burning out point, running this small business alone, and the pressure of having to be productive at all time, because everything to do with this business depends on it. I am feeling super exhausted and keep having extreme fatigue ...attack. So, I decided to keep it low key here and try to do as minimal as I can, while building up stock for up and coming @bigwoolshow. ........ But while I was away from here, I have been working to restock our super soft Donegal Tweed yarn, just in time for the "Curry Cardigan" pattern release by Jennifer @woodhouseknits. It is kind of special when the cardigan pattern is named after the colourway it's knitted in! Don't you agree? ..... Curry Cardigan is now available on @hi.ravelry, more info through @woodhouseknits. ..... Apart from Curry, I have also restock Slate, Cinnamon, Enchanted, Meadow and Duck Egg, which will knit out equally lovely in cables. See more

15.01.2022 It's so satisfying when the thoroughly exhausted avocado pips are left looking like this, beautiful warm. I took a week to extract this lot. They have been soaked for about a week (+a few careful temperature controlled simmers in between). The dye from this is so rich but I can't reveal the final colour yet as it is for this year's Advent Calendar. If 2020 gives you a big lemon, I'll try to balance it out with these beautiful avocado dye!

13.01.2022 Hi all, I just popped a handful of naturally dyed yarn in the shop today! I have been playing with Indigo and couldn't resist sharing the results from my recent experiment. . I have been very quiet recently around here and haven't done a shop update in a while. I have been working hard on delivering the Advent Calendar 2020, and natural dye process takes so much longer but so satisfying. I am not far now from finalising the set! .... Also in another news, I have been having terrible "baby-brain" for the last 3 months. Yep, we expecting our second baby and I am now finally well into the 2nd trimester (thank goodness bevause the first was horrendously exhausting!!!). I'm glad to tell you that I am feeling a lot more energised now ;) . Anyway I hope you enjoy these indigo dyed yarn! 12.01.2022 I just added a few more bags to the shop. Hopefully i time for xmas for those who wants them for gifting :) And that's all folks for this year. Next restock of project bahs will be sometimes after February (most like March) 2021, as I have a little bubba on the way and I'm due in early Feb. Things are going to get crazy around the house and I'll be spending less time around here for a short while:)

You can order them now but they will be shipped towards end of November 2020 (If not earlier)! . I planned to have them available ready to ship this week but things turned out slightly delayed and I'm still waiting on some leather to arrive for final touch. I am sorry I couldn't ship them earlier but at least it will be in time for Xmas if you are eyeing them for presents :).

08.01.2022 I scored some unwanted loquat pruning from a friend's garden before the stage 3 lock down! And all I can say is that I am way too pleased with myself for getting my hands on them! I have been wanting to dye with this beauty of a plant for a long time but my own loquat tree is still so tiny and has barely 6 leaves on it! Fingers crossed there'll be some pretty neon peachy hue coming out of these!

06.01.2022 I am playing with Indigo today. This is the first time I'm dyeing with organic bio indigo. I am please with the result and I might have just made this vat a teeny bit too big but this is great because I have plenty of it left and might just dye some extra skeins for the next shop update!

04.01.2022 [[OOAKs + OOD BATCHES]] Through quality control process, experimentation and reusing dyebaths, I often create some beautiful odd bunch of yarns. After a bit of reorganisation and clean up, I realised I have collected quite a few and they are just waiting to be rediscovered. So, I have added an OOAKs + Odd Batches section to my website. Within this section, you will find many OOAKs and odd skeins from various batches, which are available in a limited amount and won't be repea...ted. Some of the yarns may be from the discontinued yarn bases or our current bases. But they are perfectly good yarn. There are usually only 1 or 2 skeins for each of these, so once they are gone they are gone. . . Currently, there are a couple of odd skeins of Merry Go Round from the recent batch, which were a bit over speckled (I got a bit too excited with colours) but are so beautiful. They are just have a bit more neon compared to the usual but actually super fun! So go check this new section out because you may find some bargains or some unexpected treasures. See more
