23.01.2022 As easter is quickly approaching the children have been busy creating wonderful pieces of artwork! This morning they had the opportunity to paint some Easter bunnies, and this afternoon we made some easter hats. Painting allows the children to express their thoughts, feelings and emotions while encouraging fine motor development. For afternoon tea Miss Sue made some delicious chocolate cake, and as you can imagine this was a huge hit with the children!

11.01.2022 Hello to all our Families, As we are all aware, greater Brisbane will be going into lockdown for the next 3 days. This means.... The centre will remain open for essential workers only. ... Over the next 3 days, the directive from Queensland Health states the following: Those living in the local government areas of Brisbane, Moreton Bay, Ipswich, Redlands and Logan will be required to stay at home except for the following reasons: For work, or volunteering, or study if it is not reasonably practicable to work or learn remotely from home. Shopping for essentials, food and necessary supplies Medical or healthcare needs, including compassionate requirements Exercise with no more than one other person, unless from the same household Child Custody Arrangements Visit for end of life Attend a funeral or wedding in line with restrictions Emergency situations, to escape harm Exemption form the Chief of Health Officer. Legal Obligations Masks must be worn when leaving home, including using ride share, public transport and at indoor venues, including the workplace. All essential businesses will remain open. 11.01.2022 After one of our beautiful families welcomed a new puppy to their family. The Junior kindy children showed an interest in their different pets. To follow on with the childrens interest, we have set up our dramatic play area with our very own vet clinic. In this new area the children have worked at showing their friends and animals love, care and compassion as they play together to take care of the different animals.
