19.01.2022 EYLF Learning Outcome 2: Children Are Connected With And Contribute To Their World Natural materials should be an integral element of a child’s play. Loose things such as twigs, leaves, shells and sand benefit a child’s early years experiences by stimulating their creativity and imagination. Natural materials are easily accessible and encourage children to learn about nature. The children absolutley loved this frozen flowers experience, as it gave them the opportunity to ...explore texture, scents, sizes, temperature and a variety of naturally sourced items such as leaves, sticks, flowers and gum nuts.. #happyheartscaboolture #naturalresources #nature #environment #learningthroughplay
14.01.2022 At Happy Hearts Caboolture we aim to provide natural and sustainable environments for the children to explore and be a part of. No watering can? No problem! Using recycled soft drink bottles and a big bucket of water, the children took action with watering and nurturing our plants and gardens in our mud area. Gardening encourages the development of senses such as sight, touch, smell and taste. Gardening also gives the children a sense of responsibility and patience as well as encouraging healthy eating.

08.01.2022 Accidents happen all the time, so knowing what to do in a high pressure situation is important. If you have children, knowing how to perform first aid becomes much more critical. While accidents can happen to virtually everyone, they tend to happen with children a lot more frequently. Children look to the adults in their life to model their behaviour after; if you are calm and collected, the child is much more likely to be as well. Keeping our first ai...d and CPR current, gives your family the confidence that the educators at Happy Hearts Caboolture, are able to remain calm and provide effective First aid to your child, should they need it. #stayingcurrent #firstaid #CPR #happyheartscaboolture #calmandcollected #training
07.01.2022 Our educators are committed to ensuring your children feel safe and supported on arrival by offering a range of exciting experiences and engaging with children.

05.01.2022 Book week 2020, October 17th-23rd! For book week, we are encouraging children to dress up as their favourite character, bring in your favourite book or sit and enjoy a nice story in the shade. Books are a part of our day to day practice and are one of the most important learning resources. Children learn to love the sound of language before they even notice the existence of printed words on a page. Reading books aloud to children stimulates their imagination and expan...ds their understanding of the world. It helps them develop language and listening skills and prepares them to understand the written word. #happyheartscaboolture #reading #bookweek2020
