23.01.2022 Heart full of happiness to see, hear, and feel the rain this morning pouring over the thirsty earth. We certainly need all we can get. I'm also grateful that the rain kindly scheduled itself to begin after outdoor yoga finished this morning! Make sure you register your interest for upcoming outdoor yoga classes so that I can keep you updated of weather conditions on the occasional event that we might have to cancel.... Have a wonderful weekend, yogis!

20.01.2022 Another breathtaking sunrise for our last outdoor yoga session for the year! We will be taking a break over Christmas and New year's and recommencing from the 7th January. Have a wonderful, restful, beautiful, and magical holiday break!

18.01.2022 Our outdoor yoga sessions are starting up again this week and I'm so excited!! Join us for beautiful sunrises, heart-opening yoga, and maybe a couple of cute puppies showing us how downward dog is really done!

16.01.2022 Practice makes... slow, gradual improvements! . Sometimes in my yoga classes, I see students pushing themselves to "get into" asanas (postures), straining against their current level of flexibility. . The truth that you might not see in the perfect Instagram yoga pictures is that it takes a lot of time to look like "a yogi" and it's not possible for all bodies to look a certain way in an asana. ... . There are two years of dedicated yoga practice between the two photos above. Two years of slow, gradual, imperceptible changes to my physical body, and even more subtle changes in my emotional and energetic bodies. . I was taught that the practice of yoga is a deeply profound spiritual path, not simply a way to get fit and look good. . I was taught that we should honour, respect, and love our bodies by never forcing an asana, and that you will gain far more in flexibility by relaxing and taking our time than by forcing. . This attitude then begins to spill over into the way we treat ourselves in every aspect of our lives. . And this is what I aspire to teach my students now! . #patience #slowlyslowly #chakrasana #yogaprogress #compassion See more
