23.01.2022 Lunchtime play date.... I’m always so grateful to be able to smash out tasty scrolls in such a short amount of time using the Thermomix. And there preferences are the simplest of combos - Vegemite & cheese and tomato paste & cheese. Winning!!... - Happy Hinks
19.01.2022 Working in a pre-primary classroom I always feel envious of many school lunches! Today’s couple of sushi sets made me feel truly green so I grabbed some ingredients to make one of my favourite dishes, the ‘Sushi Salad’ for MY school lunches over the next couple of days. Yum! I originally found it in the Thermomix Recipe Community and its a really good one. They’ve since adapted it in the Recipe Development area to include seafood rather than chicken and its available via Cookidoo. I followed most of the recipe but used brown rice instead of sushi rice hoping it’ll be healthier. P.s. Who amongst you could mix up the colours of these Tupperware lids? I challenged myself to do it and I nearly can’t cope and feel the need to change them back! - Happy Hinks
19.01.2022 Presentation is everything! Sorry mother - rude!! PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: Make friends with your Varoma. I do promise you it’s not hard to cook Thermomix ‘all in one meals’. I simply cooked sauce in the bowl, rice in the basket, chipolatas and rissoles in the Varoma dish & veggies steamed on the tray. All cooked in 30 mins (with veggies being added in last 10 mins of cooking time). ... Bish Bash Bosh - job done! Our family meal cooked and not too many complaints from the smaller critics. - Happy Hinks
16.01.2022 I did my bit towards dinner... Rice Salad recipe via Cookidoo using brown rice. It says to serve with tuna but that’s a strong no from me!! A great recipe to bulk out with extras for a larger family. Hubby cooking (almost burning) chicken rissoles purchased via @bunbury_farmers_market. Yes I could make them using my Thermomix but these are THE BOMB and we’re just back from holiday. - Happy Hinks
14.01.2022 Well yum....! ‘Hunter’s Lemon Chicken Rissoles’ recipe via Cookidoo. Hubby got some good grill lines on those bad boys. We enjoyed them with a potato salad (potatoes steamed in the simmering basket) alongside a basic green one. Too easy!... - Happy Hinks
09.01.2022 I love my electric pasta and noodle maker when I want to treat us to the fresh stuff! I fancied fresh spaghetti to go with a marinara sauce for tonight’s dinner. But alas, it’s been such a long time since I’ve made the sauce, I didn’t have the Everyday cookbook recipe and it’s not on Cookidoo. Luckily I found a TM recipe in one of my old cook books by @nicomorettiaus. My photo is truly not very ‘insta worthy’ but no less delish! - Happy Hinks

05.01.2022 Hey, so this was a winner!! Do you eat your risotto with a spoon or a fork like a weirdo? Thank you to @natalijacvet for the great recommendation of the ‘Risotto Verde’ recipe via Cookidoo. Yum! ... Aside from adding mushies, I’m noting a couple of tweaks to the recipe for next time. I’d increase the amount of lemon peel and because I’m a pesto fiend, more basil. Definitely one I’d add to my meal plan when I need a quick, simple and flavoursome din dins. - Happy Hinks
