24.01.2022 Our chicken project is going great with Sokha and his family. They now have 42 chickens of various ages. The first birds he bred will soon be sold. We also have another family interested in joining the project and Sokha has offered to share his knowledge with the new family to help them breed healthy birds. To support this project please send us a message!
24.01.2022 Happy to support our friends at Heartprint supplying food to their community. As COVID-19 continues to spread though Cambodian communities and no sight of tourists returning these families would be incredibly thankful for the help they receive. It’s also wonderful to see Australian groups and individuals working together to provide as much support as possible.
23.01.2022 Fabulous party tonight at SOH. Dinner and disco. Thank you Colin Norris and Qantas airlines for making it possible such a special night for all of us! We love our uncle Colin! Until next time

21.01.2022 Spent the morning in our local village with the children that attend School of Hope and their families. They were so grateful for the rice, most locals are out of work, as the economy is based almost solely on tourism in Siem Reap. These people are family to us, as they live in our neighborhood and we have spent two years with these children. Every bit we can do to assist them during this time is so appreciated! Thank you to everyone for continuing to help these beautiful people
21.01.2022 School of Hope Kids Dinner with special guest Miss Tracey checking to see where the money from Cupcakes for Cambodia is spent. Everyone goes home with a full belly!
21.01.2022 Kem Update! Baby Gaga is now 2 years old and doing well. Kem and her children all look happy and healthy! The house supplied by Global Village Housing is in need of a couple of small repairs but has become the central meeting place where the village women sit and talk. Once an outcast Kem and her family are now important members of the community!
20.01.2022 Dont forget if your celebrating this long weekend, Happy Hub will collect all your bottles and cans if you live in the Brisbane region. You can also donate to Happy Hub when returning bottles by using our scheme ID C10002035 Thank you!
20.01.2022 Happy Hub purchased these water filters back in February before Covid-19 struck. Due to travel restrictions within Cambodia we have not been able to deliver them to families. Special thanks to our donors who collect bottles, bake goods and donate Christmas vouchers to provide families with clean drinking water. Thanks also to monk Chhun for delivering to these poor families in Battambang Province.
20.01.2022 This is Sokha and his family. Sokha is one of our Tuk Tuk drivers in Siem Reap. He and his wife have 5 children. With no tourists currently in Cambodia families like Sokhas are doing it tough. Happy Hub is helping these families where possible. Donations from the Cash for Containers scheme or sales from donated goods which normally support the School of Hope will be used to buy rice and support families till things return to normal.
19.01.2022 Happy Hub travelled with our friends from Global Village Housing to a small Island off the coast of Kep province. Here about 40 families live with basic housing, no running water, no sanitation and no school (apart from a pregnant mother who has set up a class room at her house) They mainly survive by fishing the surrounding waters. We delivered 6 water filters and some clothing, toothbrushes and some school stationary. We hope to deliver more filters in the near future. Global Village Housing is also looking at providing homes to those most in need. To donate filters visit http://www.happyhubkampot.org//Water_filtration_system.html or to enquire about sponsoring a house through GVH message us!

17.01.2022 Thanks to The Miles Family, Anne Burke, Eunice Robertson and Melz Hairdressing and clients for donating water filters to families. #waterfilter #happyhub #cambodia
16.01.2022 In these crazy times we are looking at supporting some of the families close to our charity. Students, teachers, tuk tuk drivers and friends. Siem Reap relies heavily on the tourist trade from hotels, restaurants, tuk tuk drivers, markets, tour guides and so on. No tourists mean no work and no pay. Rice is the basis of every meal in Cambodia and often the only thing to eat for a meal. A 50kg bag equals roughly $30AUD. These will be divided amongst those most in need and help them get through the weeks ahead. Donations are tax deductable. We understand that times are tough for everyone at the moment and we appreciate any donation you can spare. http://www.happyhubkampot.org/store/p20/Rice_Donation.html
16.01.2022 Thank you Axis Coaching Group for your can donation and continued support for Happy Hub. If you would like to donate your cans directly, Happy Hub's Code is C10002035 and can be made at any TOMRA Centre.

08.01.2022 Thank you to Bupa Optical for donating second hand spectacles that are distributed to villages throughout Cambodia. Bupa Australia
08.01.2022 Last month we introduced you to Ta Chan and we told you about all the families that were living in his house. What we didn't tell you, was what we discovered wh...ile on our home visit. They only had one fully functioning toilet and one that wasn't usable. With 24 people living in the house that's just not acceptable. They hadn't even thought to ask us for help. With the help of Happy Hub, the Heartprint boys and the families living in the house we were able to renovate the existing toilet, making it not only usable again but extending it to include a bathing area.
07.01.2022 Committee Meeting

04.01.2022 Our latest member of the Chicken Project is doing very well with 17 baby chicks born in the last 2 weeks! With the tourist market disappearing with the current crisis we are encouraging our friends to look at alternate forms of income.
04.01.2022 School of Hope Family Dinner The night started with the ice cream man pulling through the gate the kids had such a great time tonight. We are so thankful to everyone who continues to support us, a simple meal is a very big deal at the moment and these kids really appreciated their night. Love to you all from Cambodia
03.01.2022 Happy Hub committee decided to allocate some of our funds for the School of Hope Kids Meal to buying rice for our students families. Schools are currently closed in Cambodia and we want to ensure our school children have rice to eat! 50kg bags are divided into 10kg bags so we can offer to all families. Nice to see the Happy Hub kids helping with separating the rice and distributing to those less fortunate. Thanks to Alecia and Vet for organising the rice! To donate a 50kg bag of rice for $30AUD (tax deductible) visit http://www.happyhubkampot.org/store/p20/Rice_Donation.html
03.01.2022 If you looking for a great documentary on Cambodia check out this one on You Tube. Its the story of a family that survived the Khmer Rouge and their time in a Thai Refugee Camp before they immigrated to Australia. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=2NUeOvikEic&feature=youtu.be
01.01.2022 Headed out to visit Kem and her children today, and to get them some much needed supplies. Had a lovely visit, lots of laughs. Kem and her children are doing well, enjoying their lovely home, which is the hub of the community. Thank you to all that have donated toward this project. The rice, meats, veg, oils, and all the staples we were able to purchase today will last them for a while, and they will have a much happier Khmer New Year!
