Her 1st Foster Carer did an awesome job working with her to get her better. Then she was moved to the second Foster Carer.... and hooked everyone living in the house around her paw. She loves her family (With human Anna) and still gets to have some contact with her previous owner (well, at least, that was before Covid-19 days). 21.01.2022 Meet Hunter Hunter is looking for a Carer/Potential Adoptee Family whod be willing to work with his needs. The main two needs are increased exercise and decrease the extra layers of fluffy. He can get along with other dogs to a point, but hes probably better off being the only king in the house hold :) He is children friendly. He loves to go out for the walk - but distance is probably not something he strives for at this time. He is a Siberian Husky, male, about 5 years o...ld. 21.01.2022 Hope you enjoy the photos of Miska :) Later today, hopefulily well get a chance to post photos of all our Rescues (over 15) that are (a) in (or nearly in) foster care, (b) have new forever homes, and (c) are in foster care to be trained ready for a new home. Quite often she visitis the primary school and gets plenty of pats from many of the children. Whats not to love? Eyes: Blue Sex: Female Milla, with a sweet disposition and bubbly attitude, Milla spent some time in Foster Care and had to receive some medical care. She pulled through with bright shiny happy eyes! After a bit of a challenge to find her perfect new home - a new home was found. At 7 1/2 years old, she now lives with another Siberian Husky that is her little big brother (shes smaller than him, but hes younger than her :) ). Shes been loving life ever since! 18.01.2022 September 2020 Siberian Huskies (pair): Akka and Voula Status: Adopted Colour: Red & White (Akka), Black and White (Voula)... Eyes: Blue (both) Sex: Female (both) Akka and Voula. Three years apart, these two are besties that work off each other. Voula is the younger, cheekier, attention seeking one. Whereas, Akka has a look about that says 'I've lived this life before'. Both gentle girls, they spent a couple months in Foster Care - very relieved to not having to spend more time in the shelter. Akka and Voula very recently met their new owner, they have stayed together, and have made themselves at home. Not long after, she was adopted by the perfect family for her. The family had recently lost their loved canine and need something back in their lives. With an eye injury that took a long time to heal (not to mention the cost), Lucien had a troubled few months. But hes a 3 1/2 year old survivor. And he won against his injuries and got better! He loves fun! He also likes to share phones, remote contrls etc. wth his sister Sasha - sometimes the equipment works diferently hehehe after the two dogs have had their play. 07.01.2022 In the past month, we have had an in-take of over 18 Siberian Huskies into Foster Care (which hopefully most will be adopted once they have adapted to living in homes... most of the intake have been through the efforts of the RSPCA in collaboration with Arctic Rescue, Homes for Huskies and Us. Eyes: Blue Sex: Female Another little 4 year-old nervous lady, Echo, went from the shelter to her Foster Carers home and, well, thats where shes going to stay! She has a beautiful husky brother and even lives with a small dog too. She handles life well and is learning each day to be betterer (intentional typo). He is the nutty one that does things - like inhaling cooked bacon when your back is turned, then looking at you as if butter wouldnt melt in his mouth.
