18.01.2022 Last week we had our monthly Fire Evacuation Drill practice and all the children were quick and alert as they followed instructions exiting the premises to the meeting point. It only took us 1 minute and 30 seconds to complete the drill.

18.01.2022 To celebrate the first week of Spring, a planned painting Tree artwork activity was created and will continue until next week for all the children to learn to make. We will be using recyclable materials like a used brown grocery paper bag - cut and shaped like a tree trunk, used hair colour brush - it will be used to create the form of leaves , used paper as the paint paper plate , small paint brush , glue and Poster paints . Our playroom had spooky decorations including the scary bats paint artworks the children created. We installed a haunted house in the playroom to thrill and excite the children for more dress-up and spooky games. The highlight of the day is when the children made their spooky cookies with fruits. 08.01.2022 About Portable Cots When choosing the right portable cot, I would recommend you buy one with the Australian standard Portacot label or Sticker AS/NZS 2195 . I bought a portable cot without checking because I thought all cots have the Australian standard sticker but unfortunately it doesnt. I had to return the cot and was able to get a refund soon after buying it. So , before buying look for the displayed cots in the shop and find the Australian standard sticker. The difference I noticed between these portacot products I bought are the height (higher with the sticker)and how the mesh would stretch firmly (firmer with the sticker ). Other than these features I noticed both look stable as it stand, materials used feel and look the same. QA2

You need only 5 items : Plain white paper or a cardboard paper folded &cut in a bunny face shape and a separate bunny ear shape, pom-poms, colourful sticky paper ,strings cut in same length and glue. This artwork can be created by children as young as 1 year. Paste the cut-out colourful papers for the ears and eyes. Paste bottom part of the ears under the face. Followed by gluing the strings first , then the pom-pom over it.You can ...ask or encourage the child to draw a dot on the eyes and a smile line . Write the greetings inside the folded bunny face.
