25.01.2022 Our ancestral microbe variety may have faded over time due, simply, to our fiber-poor diet. What is really causing heart disease, diabetes, colon cancer, hay fever, asthma, and certain autoimmune disorders?

23.01.2022 60 seconds to explain why Happylent is awesome, that wasn't hard at all ;) #fishburners #startupaus

21.01.2022 Another daring volunteer is excited to beta-test the latest Happylent. We are scheduled to significantly step up production in two weeks.

15.01.2022 One minute will make you happier and more productive Meditation is powerful yet counterintuitive concept. You should definitely give it a try.... Why? "Meditation will stop you from worrying about the past or the future, which reduces your stress levels and helps you get more enjoyment and play out of life." Here's a simple guide to help you get started.

14.01.2022 Fixed our google listing :)

13.01.2022 We don't follow trends, we set them!

11.01.2022 Open for business In case you didn't notice - Happylent is open for business! Some major improvements were made to our recipe during past couple of months:... 1) You'll love the new Happylent from the very first mouthfull, not after some "getting used to". We re-balanced spice & herb combination to soften the flavour. Some customers gave us valuable feedback on the taste and we took it on board. 2) Reduced sugar for lower GI and multiple other health benefits. The World Health Organisation says: "the intake of free sugars should be reduced to less than 10% of total energy intake". We got that number down to 9%. That's total share of calories that come from the Organic Coconut Sugar, when Happylent is consumed with low fat milk. 3) Less sticky, more powdery blend that is easy to get out of the bag. New mixing order results in a powder that is less prone to clumping, meaning it is easy to get out of the sachet and into any kind of container or blender - narrow or wide, square or round.

11.01.2022 Top 10 Nutrition Myths A good read on why you should not take marketing and anecdotes at face value. It's worth mentioning Happylent has 1:4.7 ratio of omega-3 to omega-6. While we still have plenty of room for improvement towards ideal, it's already between 5 and 10 times better than an average western diet of 1:20-50.

11.01.2022 Last week we were doing customer development in Sydney CBD (that's a fancy way of saying we talked to total strangers in the streets). A young guy stopped and told Matthew, our interviewer: "I never buy takeaway food ... because it's not hygienic". That surprised me a bit, but more so, when he told us that he is a chef, and his venue was about to open at 5pm. He was heading towards the Rocks area.... Your typical hole in the wall takeaway shop would be closed by that time, so he was certainly working in a more reputable place (at least on the outside). If a hospitality insider says he never buys commercial food because he saw how it is cooked, now it's a reason to get concerned. Not every food joint is the same but how many skeletons in the closets of the places we go to every weekday? Maybe it's better not to think about it :)

09.01.2022 We were fighting clumps for at least 3 months, gave up, and today got this by a sheer accident. Dry powder with almost no clumping. Why is this a big deal? Because packaging becomes orders of magnitude easier.

03.01.2022 I didn't fail, I learned that coarse setting doesn't work

02.01.2022 After reading this you'll never look at eggs the same again.

01.01.2022 Josephine story appeared on my reading list shortly after I've spent a weekend mentoring at #HackFood15. Innovation vs social aspect of food. Who will win in the end and is that a good thing?
