22.01.2022 This is a fantastic article and A MUST READ!!! Synthetic fragrances are litterally poisoning us and are in EVERYTHING! Having suffered with PCOS and headaches nearly all my life, I decided to look at the world around me. I was truley SHOCKED when I understood exactly what 'fragrances' listed on the back of all the products I was wearing, washing in and spraying in my home meant - even in those lovely Ecoya soy candles!!! Having since removed nearly all these products from my ...families life, we are so much happier and healthier. I still have PCOS (the damage from phalates to my endocrine system has already been done) but my headaches are gone (until someone walks in wearing synthetic toxic perfume or sprays windex around me!) Whenever I see pastries, the fruit filled colourful kind, I am instantly taken into the Foyer of the Chicago Marriott Hotel. I was probably 10 years old and was with my Dad and Grandpa and remember seeing the most amazing cart filled to the brim of beautiful glistening colourful fruit and custard pastries as soon as the elevator doors opened. My dad brought me one and ...it was the most delicious thing I had eaten in a long time. Everyday we were there I would pray that the pastries cart would be there when we left the room in the morning. 19.01.2022 Soooo in love with these 3 this week. My daughter had been complaining of a sore head for a few days and I sort of ignored her thinking she was talking about the bump on her head from a playground adventure, only to realise she was complaining of pain behind her ear. Upon inspection it looked very red and raised around the bone area. A quick trip to the drs and he advised antibiotics in 2 days if still there. We came home and I said 'lets just put some Lavender and Tea Tree ...on it and see'. Within 2 applications (approx 3 hours apart) the complaining and redness had dissappeared. 2 days of application and all signs gone! For me, I had this funny little yet painful crack on the side of one of my lips. I had been using a lip balm for days thinking it was due to this awful cold weather we had been having in Melbourne, but no matter how much I applied it wouldn't go away. 1 application of CorrectX and BAM! 08.01.2022 So today was a shit day. It was my first Yoga class in forever. I was so eager to get back after a hell last few months feeling like crap and then waiting the dreaded 6 weeks post partum....and let me tell you it was SHIT! I went to a new studio. I couldnt go back to my usual studio and teacher as I just cant commit to the same day every week at the moment, so i opted to go to another yoga studio as a casual and try it out. OMG.... The floor was too hard (no lovely hardwood ...floors here), it was too bloody hot (no beautiful wafting of spring breezes through the doors), it was far too bright (even if it did have a nice view), the instructor kept talking about strong - soooo not what my normal practice is about, but she did use Doterra oils at the end, so it wasnt all bad. I left feeling like shit and I thought about how dissapointed I was in myself. So, I have come home popped on some Forgive blend of oils and realised that I am not where I was with my practice pre pregnancy..and thats ok. That my new casual yoga studio will have to do until I can commit to a regular full term weekly class at the most beautiful studio with a teacher that just gets what yoga should be.
