06.01.2022 Our Benny made an announcement today....don’t worry you will still see Benny on his normal days on the coffee run. I am so proud of you Benny - luvya son I am so happy to announce this. ... I can now offically say I am a Teachers Aide at the Aspect School for Autism. My duties will be teaching some students barista and canteen skills and running the pop up cafe. The school started preparing this program last year, but because of Covid, that had to be put on hold. When I met the principal last year this came up in general chat with her, dad and myself, I volunteered to teach the students how to be a barista. Well, didn't that evolve. I am amazed at this school, and what their values are to help guide these kids in the right direction. It brings a tear to my eye still to this day. But, now after a few months of meetings and filling in forms, and lots and lots of excited phone calls and messages, I am now an official part of the schools team. To say that I am excited is such an understatement. Just to have even been asked if I would be interested in doing this, is a huge honour in itself. I have been lucky enough to have such amazing friends and family. Helping me in all sorts of ups and downs, mostly ups. I really would not be the man I am today without their guidance, love and support. Who would have ever thought this is where life would take me 4 years ago? I know I would never have guessed it. But life is interesting like that. This is a new challenge, and I am ready for it. Love yourself, and each other

05.01.2022 The Newcastle Gold Cup is awesome - one of many Flying Disc events planned for this year and let me tell you this sport is a revelation to me!!!! A cross between touch footy, aussie rules, netball and grid iron. And it is so FAST This is Day 2 at Lakeside Ovals at Raymond Terrace with a battle weary crew from yesterday already fired up and playing 80 minute games.
