While we make no secret of our love for dress ups and Dogs in costume, please take care when approaching your dog in things they haven't previously been exposed to. The attached photo is just 2 screenshots of some Humour Posts going around in the lead up to todays festivities that we thought we would share. These dogs are giving clear body language signals they are not comfortable with the situation they a...re being placed in (Leaning away, whites of eyes exposed and in the case of the staffy a very high rigid tail, just to name a few) although some dogs will tolerate this if startled, not all will be able to react so controlled. Be your dog's protector and keep them, and yourselves safe! Enjoy your Trick or Treating!

04.01.2022 Today is set to be a hot one, we've even had to cancel our Group Obedience Classes for the safety of the dogs. Remember dogs cool their bodies differently than we do so we need to be extra careful with them. Avoid walking your dog in the peak of today's weather, or at all if they are struggling, and keep an eye out for any signs of Heatstroke!
03.01.2022 Happy Paws remembers one of our own - Today marks a year since Rajah passed to the rainbow bridge at only 6. Rajah was one of our 'founding members' and original training partner of Erin (yep, that's him in our logo!) Rajah loved nothing more than being on the training ground working, but was just as happy asleep on the couch with his family. We all miss this unique boy very much but thought we would celebrate the time we did have him by sharing some of his finest moments
