25.01.2022 Hello Everyone! HappySelf now offers nutrition consultations with a university- qualified nutritionist! (aka- me). Consultations are a chance for you to ask que...stions and me to answer questions that you may have about food, what you eat, what you want to change, how to stay on track, how to simplify food labels & loads more! I have spent the last 3.5 years studying nutrition in many different capacities, from maternal, to early childhood all the way up to the elderly demographic. I have also undertaken research projects, and have a solid understanding of how to determine whether diet information is legitimate or fake, and educate you on how you can tell fads from facts! Food works best combined with exercise! so now I offer both to provide you with the complete picture, and help you on your way to a healthier sustainable lifestyle! 16.01.2022 TIME - when you don’t have a lot of it ... here is one simple way you can quickly prepare a lunch meal to take to work! Example: VEGO wrap! Pick 4 or more salad items.. dice them up one afternoon into a good sized container mix it all through and TA DAA! You have salad mix ready to go into a wrap the next day! It’s super simple and maybe you already do it, but if you don’t, try it ! My salad mix this week is tomato, mushroom, capsicum, cucumber & onion mixed with pumpkin se...eds and Chia! (You can add meat if you wish) I also cooked up some sweet potato chips, to add in, in the morning and I’ll shove some spinach on top! On the base of my wrap i use Obela hommus with roasted pine nuts All in all this took me 10 min to chop up And 5min to make the wrap the next day! Healthy doesn’t have to be hard! Tip: when you chose which type of wraps to purchase... obviously we know the brown ones are better than white... however don’t be fooled, some brown wraps contain 600mg+ of sodium (high In salt) in EACH wrap.. Helga’s wholegrain ones contain only 280mg in EACH wrap, which is low, and they taste delish! HappySelf also provides a shop & swap service! Where HappySelf come food shopping with you (no judgements just merely to help!), and educate you on better food options, how to easily interpret the nutritional information panels, and a chance for you to ask 100000 questions as we aisle surf! (I love answering your questions, it’s what I have trained for, so challenge me!) This service is $30 and takes up to anywhere from 20min to 60min Happy healthy eating ! Beth

12.01.2022 Everyday we eat food (pretty standard habit) some of us are always thinking about what type of food we are eating, is it good? Is it bad? After I’ve eaten it will a few thousand molecules of fat suddenly land on my thigh or tummy? (It doesn’t work that way) Some of us just go f*ck it taste so good, I’m still alive, nomnom yolo! Everyone’s minds are wired differently, and how we perceive food is very individual, so something you eat may give you better energy or health resu...lts than others, hence why maybe that time you tried to eat exactly what your friend ate you didn’t reap the same rewards. Eating healthy most of the time is very doable, which may sound cliche to some, but the fact is it’s true, fresh organic food is delicious and it’s not to say the junkier food isn’t also quite tasty! All in moderation you can find a good balance of both. And yes it can definitely be affordable. If you are interested in getting real facts (not off Google searches), HappySelf Personal Training and Nutrition is now offering food habit analyses. What do I have to do? Record 14 days of your food and liquid intake How does it work? Once I have your 14 day food habit record I will go through and formulate a good-food habit plan tailored to you (allow 7 days for analyses). This can be online or in person. How much does it cost? $30. My approach to nutrition is not judgemental, unrealistic and doesn’t contain any complicated scientific structures. My goal is to better your food habits through what I’ve learnt in over three years of university studying nutrition. I have no fancy Instagram page, or photos of filtered foods, however what I do have is the knowledge and passion for helping others who want to improve this area of their lives. $30! If it’s important enough you’ll find a way, if not you’ll find an excuse, there are NO excuses! As a qualified nutritionist via university degree, I am able to am offering food habit analyses

I commend their patience of my 'instructions', and congrats to shae for finding the golden bunny! and to Priscilla and Adela for finding a dead bird even though it was not part of the challenge, you may keep it as your prize! well done guys! enjoy your weekend!

06.01.2022 Just for my clients -> hill sprints, 400m,200m,100m sprints, 10min endurance laps - I’m completely exhausted, my legs are shaking, My lungs are oxygen deprived I’ve completely emptied the energy tank... So don’t worry I understand the pain i put you through coz I also go through it... you’re welcome to participate with me Sunday mornings or just watch me in pain! Haha happy Sunday!
