25.01.2022 This is exactly where is was at a few years ago. Which is worse? sugar or additives? Personally, I try my best to reduce my families consumption of both and am completely aware of how difficult it can be. Happy Snackz was created to make it that little bit easier for families to reduce their consumption of these without having to spend all of your spare time in the kitchen or on the internet searching for appropriate products. 22.01.2022 Does this raise concern for any of you? Personally, I think fresh fruit and veg is meant to be "fresh", not have an extended shelf life. We are trying our best to reduce the additives we consume, and certainly don't want them added to fresh fruit and veg.

08.01.2022 For the last few months I have been on a quest to reduce the amount of refined sugar that I eat. I had gotten to a point where I would go to the shops just to buy chocolate, lollies or biscuits, and then eat a whole packet in one night I knew I couldn't just give up my sweet treats cold turkey, so I have been making some raw/wholefood treats so i can still enjoy a small sweet treat but not consume all the other crappy stuff. And they are absolutely delicious, even the kids... love them. Who knew something made with wholefoods could be so delicious. And for me the best thing is that because they are made with real food I can have only one and actually feel satisfied, I don't need to eat a whole packet, in fact I don't think you could as they really do fill you up. So, I tested some of the best treats out on a few loyal Happy Snackz customers, and some of my friends at a recent birthday get together, and they were an absolute winner, so I have decided make them part of the Happy Snackz menu. They will be on the website and ready to order by next week. Now you guys can indulge in some delicious treats and not feel guilty. The treats will include Raw Peppermint Bites, Raw Caramel Bites, Coconut Rough, Raw Choc Raspberry Bites and the most popular one - Snickers Slice. This photo is of my birthday cake platter from a couple of weeks ago. I made a Raw Choc Raspberry Cheesecake and scattered the Wholefood treats around the platter.
