24.01.2022 Hello Everyone, This is a difficult message to type but I have to sadly inform you that due to a marriage breakdown the farm has been sold. I (Farmer Jo) will be permanently putting my farming life on hold for quite some time as I am still not physically strong from my elbow injury last year. I have been doing schooling to pursue a new career and hope to do a lot of travelling around Australia exploring and working. I plan on keeping Happy Valley Free Range and it would be ni...ce to see the signs go back up in the future on another piece of Australian countryside. To all of you, our Farm Friends that I have met and shared the farm with, laughed with, shared recipes with and cried with; you will be cherished in my memory forever. Besides the wonderful piggies, you have made the hard slog and battles so worth while and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I hate to disappoint you all and I have stewed over writing this for some time. When this COVID-19 is over I will see some of you at the markets as a fellow supporter of the farmers that work so hard to provide us with great healthy food.
