The backroads of the Omeo region will form the decor for the first edition of this independent mountain bike race. Using their international cycling experience Velo Grammont came up with a breathtaking route in and around the town of Omeo, a route which suits all types of riders from xc-mtb adepts, gravel grinders to roadies. And since cyclists don't like to 'hike a bike' they made sure the entire route is rideable ... at least if you're fit enough. LOCATION: OMEO, VIC 3898 - AUSTRALIA RACE DISTANCE: 105 miles / 170 km ELEVATION: 12,000+ ft / 3,650+ m RACE CUT-OFF TIME: 12 hours START TIME: 7.00 am No matter how cool it is to ride a gravel bike nowadays this event is XC-MTB only! 08.01.2022 With us having a light dusting of the good stuff last night and a few more lifts being open I thought it’s only right to let everyone know that the Boot Special...ist department at Snow Monkey is now up and running. I’ve got some new products in store such as Head, Lange, Salomon, Rossignol and Alpina. I have more Head, Lange and Tecnica arriving soon too. And in a weeks time I will have a range for Juniors too!! I’ll be doing custom boot fits, boot modifications and custom orthotics that involves a 28 point analysis form of the foot. So if your feet are hurting pop into Snow Monkey at bus stop 7 in the Jack Frost building and we’ll solve the problem. Alternatively you can call us on 0357593663 and book an appointment.
