25.01.2022 Hey there Portland peeps. Just thought I'd put this out there after having an interaction with a really unpleasant person today. Firstly I want to say that everyday in hospitality we serve some wonderful customers. They are the reason we enjoy working in hospitality and they make up the majority of people we deal with. We (and I mean everyone in retail) occasionally comes across a person who cannot be pleased. We had one of those customers today. Maybe he woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Maybe he simply has never worked in hospitality. But he chose the unkind option and it made me want to just remind everybody, that just because we work in hospitality does not mean we have to accept rude behaviour and that we are all trying our best to give you the best customer experience that we can. xx

12.01.2022 Winner Winner Chicken Dinner...... Did anyone see us in the Portland Observer on Friday? We are so excited that we were chosen as one of the winners of the LOVE YOUR LOCAL competition run by the Portland Observer and Committee for Portland. We were chosen as a winner due to our efforts to keep Portland stocked with staples such as flour, pasta, yeast, rice etc when the supermarkets had none in stock. We love our community and were more than happy to help when people were in need. So thank you Portland and thank you to the Portland Observer and congratulations to the other winners.
