25.01.2022 Harbour City FootGolf is pleased to announce that we have had two of our members, Josh Ackland and Lucio Fiorini qualify for next years World Cup in Japan. Josh qualified by finishing in the top 3 Australian players in the 2019 season while Lucio had qualified after finishing 4th with an exceptional display of FootGolf over the weekends FIFG500 competition. To say we are proud of these two players is an understatement. While Josh hasn’t had the best year in terms of result...s because of injury we all know what he is capable of on the big stage. And to our president Lucio, we are all delighted that he was able to show his class yesterday and achieve his goal of qualifying for the World Cup. Well done lads. We know that you will do yourselves, Harbour City FootGolf and FootGolf Australia proud in Japan.

25.01.2022 -2020 Australian Open Series Stage 18 Results- Giorgio Pagliacci : -4 Lucio Fiorini: +5 Troy Sullivan: +7... Manuel Massella: +9 After leading for the majority of the two day competition Giorgio was pipped at the post on the last hole in a nail biting finish with both Deryn Knott and Chris Ward. Here's what each player had to say about their round... Giorgio Ive lost my first win in a comp at the last hole" Lucio - "A few key mistakes on both days took me out of contention for the top spots but I was able to keep it together to climb back to fifth place to secure precious points for the Region 4 ranking. Looking forward to the last two big comps of the year in November Troy - "Started R1 really well but had a mid round brain snap and couldn’t get myself back into the round from then on. R2 somewhat salvaged something from the weekend with an even score but the damage was already done. Looking forward to Jamberoo this weekend". Manuel - " A difficult weekend on the course, with an average score and plenty of room for improvement There’s a quick turnaround into the next event with the FIFG250 Stage 19 this Sunday at Jamberoo if the weather gods permit .

Manuel Massella: +10 Not one for the record books for Harbour City FootGolf at the weekends event with no podium placings and no record rounds for any of our players. Here's what each player had to say about their round... Lucio - "A bunch of minor misses made the difference between my final 5th place and a podium finish. Another reminder that every shot counts from beginning to end. Troy - "A number of my approach shots were simply not good enough today. I didn’t adapt to the conditions very well but I’ll learn from my mistakes here and come back fighting in the next event Josh - A blow out on hole 18 dropped me down the leader board but overall it wasn't a bad day playing majority left foot in very tough conditions. Tough to find that consistency over 18 holes with opposite foot but going to make me a better player once the right foot is back in action! Manuel - "A difficult round on the course, with an average score and plenty of room for improvement Special mention to Steve Senyard and Luke Bambach who made the trip from QLD. Looking forward to the next event - FIFG500 at Horizons Golf Resort in 3 weeks time .

19.01.2022 Unfortunately due to the COVID outbreak on the Northern Beaches, HCF was unable to complete our Inter Club Competition last weekend as was planned. We hope to wrap up our competition in the New Year and crown our first club champion. On behalf of Harbour City FootGolf, we would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Looking forward to a big 2021!!!

10.01.2022 Inter Club Competition Results - Round 6 and 7 Yesterday rounds 6 and 7 were played at Mangrove Mountain Golf Club with great shots and tense matches being played over both rounds as we near the end of our first club competition. Round 6 ... Lucio V Giorgio (2-3) After his mid season break, Giorgio has returned to the course with some great form and managed to walk away with a 3-2 victory against the only player yet to taste defeat in Lucio. Manuel V Troy (2-3) Manu played brilliantly last time around at MMM and he started well but with Troy was able to tame the stallion for the time being narrowly taking the match 3-2. Round 7 Josh V Manuel (3-2) With neither player wanting to give away point it was always going to be a close match. With both players holding the lead during the match it came to the final hole to decide the match with Josh taking the win 3-2 Troy V Giorgio (3-3) Another close match that went down to the wire and last kick of the afternoon with Troy holding his nerve with his putt to draw the match after Giorgio took the lead on hole 8. Round 8 and 9 of the Inter Club Competition is be TBA as we eagerly await the restart of the Australian FootGolf Series.

07.01.2022 State of Origin coming up in 2 weeks time. Our 5 members will be flying the flag for NSW.

03.01.2022 Harbour City had a successful return to the course yesterday with both Manuel Massella and Troy Sullivan finishing equal 2nd (+3) with Manuel holding his nerve in the penalty putt playoff to take 2nd place. As a club, it was great to see our 5 members pushing for places on the podium with Josh Ackland and Lucio Fiorini finishing tied for 4th (+4) and Giorgio Pagliacci in 7th (+5). A special mention goes to Shannon Knott from South Coast FootGolf who took his first win in an... Australian series competition. Stage 18 heads to Horizons Golf Resort with a two day event and 100 points up for grabs.
