21.01.2022 Wonderful generosity shown by our community! A number of trolleys worth was collected this afternoon as well. Thank you to those who donated food or toys. If you’re keen to donate food or toys, it’s not too late. We’ll be outside Woolies at the Waterfront tomorrow and Sunday

20.01.2022 A U S T R A L I A Last week we donned our akubras, moleskin jeans and Driza-Bone coats and headed into the Snowy River National Park "for the word had passed around that the colt from old Regret had got away"... After chasing down brumbies we played, sang songs and made our own horse masks. We looked at pictures of the different seasons in the National Park and then read some of "The Man from Snowy River" by Banjo Paterson (illustrated by Freya Blackwood). Today is the last day of our trip around Australia. We will make stop in at the nation's capital city, Canberra, before we head back to Sydney .

19.01.2022 A U S T R A L I A . Well, we are back home in Sydney after our making our final stop in Canberra. We had a lot of new friends come along today. We had a great time playing and getting to know our new friends. We did some colouring in and sang songs. We looked at pictures of the different places you can visit in Canberra and then read "Riley and the Jumpy Kangaroo" by Tania McCartney (illustrated by Kieron Pratt). Next week we will be having an Aussie Christmas party. We'll be having fun with some games, doing Christmas craft and singing Christmas songs. For those who regularly come along to Harbour Play, instead of bringing morning tea, could you please bring something to share for the party (no nuts please). See you next week for our final Harbour Play week for 2019!!

16.01.2022 A U S T R A L I A What do you call a camel without a hump? Humphrey (get it? Hump-free, get it??) We are more than half way through our trip around Australia, visiting the Great Sandy Desert today. We, of course, played and sang songs. We also made our very own, very colourful, frilled-neck lizards. We looked at pictures of the desert and read "In the Deep Red Desert" by Angie Lionetto-Civa and Christina Booth. Next week we'll be trading the hot, dry weather for some snow when, after a very long drive, we visit the Snowy River National Park in Victoria We look forward to seeing you next Thursday.

09.01.2022 A U S T R A L I A This week was our last week of Harbour Play for 2019 and we finished with an Aussie Christmas party. We pray that you will have a wonderful time celebrating this special season with friends and family. And if you’re interested, at Harbour Church we will be celebrating Christmas on 15, 22 & 25 December. Come along and hear about a reason to hope!
