25.01.2022 We are excited to announce our new computer system is now up and running! We have all been training and practicing and put in hours of hard work. We're still all learning as we go, so please be patient with us, as we will be doing our best!
25.01.2022 A huge heart felt thank you to all those who donated to our appeal. All the pet food and treats are currently on the way to Kangaroo Island along with much needed wildlife medical supplies donated by our wonderful boss.
23.01.2022 Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone supporting us and the hundreds of donations of supplies, time, food and more! We have had vets from the army... and savem here along with dedicates volunteers assisting us with our burn victims that are coming in every day. We are seeing so many koalas, kangaroos and wallabies, eagles and possums all coming in for urgent care. We have had an amazing crew from Hunter Valley Zoo arrive with their equipment to help construct lots more holding pens and larger enclosures. See more

21.01.2022 COVID 19 LATEST UPDATE - When you arrive at the clinic for an appointment you may call the clinic on 8248 2111 to let staff know you are here OR one of the nurses will be outside promptly to check in your pet - We are trying to limit the amount of people in the clinic so upon your appointment, the nurses will take your pet inside for their check up and the vet will have a discussion with you either before or afterwards - If you require more medication or food for your pet, p...lease call the clinic first to ensure we have it ready for you to collect. Where possible we ask if you can pay prior to collection over the phone. Thank you for your understanding.

18.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE To our valued clients (both 2 and 4 legged) We are open as normal until otherwise advised.... The following guidelines are to both help yourself and your pets stay safe and healthy. If your pet needs veterinary attention and: - You have been overseas within the last 14 days - You're experiencing symptoms and/or are self-isolating - You have been in contact with a person who is self-isolating Please phone the clinic for advice and we can make a plan to help. Please use the hand sanitizer located in the reception upon arrival. To keep in line with social distancing recommendations, we ask you to wherever practical, to: - Limit the number of people presenting your pet to just one owner - If more than one owner attends the clinic we will request that only one owner be present during consultation If we feel our waiting room is becoming too crowded, we will encourage people to either wait outside or in your car and a staff member will come and get you. We are working hard to ensure we can continue to provide complete veterinary care THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING AND COOPERATION

02.01.2022 Lots of broken hearts today at Harbourside Vet Care. We sadly said goodbye to our clinic cat Abby from cancer. Now reunited with her beloved Fezz Abby came in as a tiny kitten and was hand reared by the nurses back in 2003 She lived a full and happy life and lived three days short of 17th Birthday. ... Abby was not as social as Fezz, but she was often out in the waiting room, and would pick and choose the people she wanted some love from. She also loved to stir the dogs up if she could in the waiting room...... We also said if Abby could txt us, she probably wouldnt.... she was just Abby and we will miss her like crazy. We take comfort in the fact she is snuggled up with Fezz, her soul mate. RIP Abby March2003 -28/2/20 Please share some of your memories with Abby X See more
