14.01.2022 So today we went on a research trip to one of our favourite Australian spirit brands - Husk Distillers in Tumbulgum, NSW! For some time now, we’ve stocked one of my personal favourites, Ink Gin. A gorgeous dry gin infused with Butterfly Pea Flowers to create it’s beautiful signature purple colour. Last week, we brought on board their Sloe & Berry Gin which is a much sweeter gin, beautiful with lime and tonic to accompany the tartness of the Sloe and the sweetness of the Red... Berries. Today, we accidentally brought home another of their popular lines - Spiced Bam Bam Rum - an all natural rum, spiced with real ingredients including mandarin, orange peel, cinnamon quills and vanilla beans to add spice & sweetness which is then rounded off with a sprinkle of sea salt for balance. Husk distill only 2 batches each year at their local distillery which fly off the shelves and we grabbed 2 of the last 7 bottles for you all to try! Bam Bam is smooth enough to drink on the rocks or ask one of our bartenders to mix it with ginger ale and a squeeze of fresh lime for a refreshing sip!

07.01.2022 In what has already been a very strange year, HarbourVue Tavern have been called upon by Santa himself to help keep the spirit alive within our community! To kick off the Christmas Cheer, we’ve volunteered to be Santa’s Helpers to assist in getting letters to Santa from the children in our local area! Santa then has a direct line to us for his replies which we are going to hand deliver straight to you!... When you visit us over the next few weeks, ask for your Letter to Santa template that your little ones can personalise with their very own details! Once they’ve filled out their letter, they can pop it into Santa’s Mailbox for us to ship off to Santa in the North Pole! The Mailbox will be emptied on Sunday 20th December. Santa will need plenty of time to reply to everyone, so don’t delay! (Please note, Santa’s Helpers are delivering Santa’s replies directly to your mailbox so for this reason, we must keep it to our local areas of Coomera Waters and Coomera Shores. If you reside outside of these areas, you’re still very welcome to post your letter and we will hold Santa’s reply behind the bar for you to collect before Xmas Eve!)
