24.01.2022 Forecast says 26 degrees and sunny ... sounds perfect for a Harcourt Sunset at the Harcourt Twilight Markets on Saturday... see you there!
21.01.2022 There are serious implications to the COVID-19 situation. After a great deal of thought, reading and listening, we have sadly decided to cancel the March, April and May Harcourt Twilight Markets. Looking after the our community, particularly our more vulnerable members, is our first priority. We acknowledge the importance of minimising risk and slowing the spread of the virus. At this stage, the Harcourt Twilight Market, isn’t a key market outlet for many producers, so we fee...l the wise course is to cancel. Our wonderful Market Manager, Chris Cregan, will be in touch with any stallholders who have already paid to arrange a refund. Situations like this remind us of how much we rely on each other and the importance of building community resilience by supporting local food networks. Producers, makers and farmers rely on Farmer’s Markets as critical outlets to support their businesses. The Bendigo Community Farmers’ Market, Melbourne Farmer’s Markets and the Victorian Farmers’ Market Association are all working hard to support producers and makers. We encourage you to support them. Stay safe everyone and look after each other. #StaySafe.BeKind #MelbourneFarmersMarkets #VicFarmersmarkets #BendigoMarket #castlemainefarmersmarket #knowwhereyourshoppingdollargoes See more

20.01.2022 Thanks everyone for your support and understanding when we had to cancel the rest of the Twilight Market series. Current events have certainly reinforced the importance of supporting our local producers. They’re doing a fabulous job and we want them to know how much we appreciate their hard work, especially during this challenging time. If you do need supplies, try to support them where you can. The Bendigo Weekly Market is on tomorrow, Castlemaine Farmers Market on Sunday ...and the Weekly Market each Wednesday. If you do go, PLEASE follow the guidelines carefully. Take care of yourself and others, especially the more vulnerable members of our community. #StaywellBekind #bendigofarmersmarket #castlemainefarmersmarket See more
20.01.2022 You can buy lots of things in a supermarket, but you can’t buy love. On the other hand, when you buy something directly from the grower, brewer, maker, cook or artist, you’ll feel the heart and soul they’ve crafted into it. Years of honing their skills, trials, success and probably more than a few tears along the way. They do it because they want to, not because they work in a factory churning out stuff, packed in plastic and shipped half way around the world. They live close by. They’ll sell it to you with a smile. You’ll get something you need or a gift for someone you care about. So put it in your diary now. Invite a friend or three. Think twice about buying boring stuff this week and come and support your local market.
19.01.2022 Dear Good People of Harcourt, We’re excited to announce that we have four new stallholders joining us at the Market this Saturday. There’ll be good music, lovely food and local beer, wine and cider. Now we need to ask for your help.... Come and support your Market, enjoy the music and take the time to visit each of the stalls. Have a chat to the stallholders. Think about Easter gifts, get some fresh produce or buy something little just because you love it. ... The stallholder fees pay for the fabulous entertainment, with sound engineering by the wonderful Rich Thompson. Our awesome Market Manager, Chris Cregan has done a power of work behind the scenes to make it all come together on the day. She even seems to have organised things with the Weather Gods! We’re keen to grow the Market as a gateway to local producers and makers as well as a social gathering for our community with good live music. To make it all work though, stallholders rely on sales. Bet there’s a birthday coming up somewhere in your circle soon!?
18.01.2022 Who is Bunjil? Why is he called the eagle who flies alone? What are his Teachings? Come along to the next Harcourt Twilight Market on the 28th March in James Park from 4 7pm. Find the answers as Aunty Julie shares the Dreaming Teaching of the Aboriginal Creator Spirit for this area. Listen to the Teaching and then join Aunty Julie and Al and Faith as they teach you the Creation of the Animals Dance. Then join in the Game of Koolchee. This game comes from the Lake Eyre people of South Australia. In their game they used emu eggs and balls made out of clay. The aim was to break the opponent’s egg by hitting it with the clay ball. The balls were called koolchees. We won't be breaking any precious eggs, but we will be having a lot of fun! Come and join us.
13.01.2022 While our local Market is still on hold, the good folk in Bendigo are planning a BIG ONE on Saturday. Help support local producers, farmers and makers. We'll all part of the City of Gastronomy, right here in our region!
11.01.2022 It’s going to be a wonderful Day - come and join us!
11.01.2022 The next Harcourt Twilight Market is on this Saturday! Who is looking forward to the food, music and local producers?

09.01.2022 Sometimes, the music gods smile on you. We’re very excited to announce that Amigos Trios will be playing at the Harcourt Twilight Market on Saturday 25th of January. Just finished recording their second CD, Amigos Trios will take you on a musical journey from Nashville down to New Orleans. Col, Mal and Graeme have honed their honest and earthy original blues over a few decades of playing together. They’ll be supported by another good man and skilled musician, Trevor Phillips.... Seriously, join us. You’ll be in for a treat. #AmigosTrios https://www.facebook.com/Fender47/ #TrevorPhillipsMusic https://www.facebook.com/Trevor-Phillips-Music-103817134465749/ #Harcourt Twilight Market https://www.facebook.com/Harcourt-Twilight-Market-176795019893903/ #ColBrady https://www.facebook.com/collin.brady.39

03.01.2022 No fun without volunteers for the Wash Against Waste at the Harcourt Applefest. #volunteers #helpinghands #washagainstwaste
02.01.2022 Wow so many likes! We noticed and we appreciate your support so much. We were starting to plan a spring celebration, but times have changed again... Anyway, you’ve encouraged us and we’ve decided to keep looking at ways to reinvent the Market. We want to support local producers and makers, and to celebrate our region, while keeping everyone safe. If you’d like to join the Subcommittee, we’d love your help. Please get in touch.
01.01.2022 Wow-ee - great show but fast forward to watch Michael from Henry of Harcourt showing the beauty and ease of making your own cider - that could be dangerous... thanks Michael.
