25.01.2022 Put your best foot forward You are the main character of your own story, your own journey, you are in control of your life, and what it consists of. Everyday you awaken , is another chance to change for the better, every new day, is an oppourtunity to make things good for your life, whether it's eating a little less junk food and going more healthier alternatives, going to the gym more, taking the kids to the park, and playing around for awhile. Even reading a book, ...anything that will put you on the front foot and benefit you in the long run, work for it, set time aside for it. Therr is 24 hours in a day, on average, people sleep between 6-8 hours in the day, go to work for 8 hours, come home, watch tv , eat, and chill out for the remainding 8+hours till they retire for the night. Still thinking in there minds' there is not enough hours in a day to go to gym, go for a walk... what if i told you all you need was 45 minutes? As little as 45 minutes of your whole day, can just be dedicated to your health and mindset, whether it will be apart of your morning routine, get up earlier, get it done, or whether it is apart of your winding down after a day of work. Without a doubt , it takes alot of failures to get it right, going toward your goal, no matter who you are, elite athlete to the average joe, failures will happen, in sports, in life itself... shit happens! ... I'm not saying because failures happen, you suck.. not at all, the way I see it, when failures happen, it just means your taking another step closer to your goal! So if you look at it that way, failure is good! It opens up opportunities to strengthen in other areas that are lacking, to benefit you in your journey to the main goal I want to make this post not to just highlight the fact that failures happen in life, but to remind who is reading this is a major indication to yourself that you chose the path that will be worth it the most at the end "Sometimes you need to take 2 steps back to take 10 stes forward"- Nipsey Hussle I am now sitting at 108kg from 104kg , life happened the past few weeks, I just kept lifting weights and eating over my calories and it caught up to me, whether this is majority muscle mass , who knows lol , but I know I'm not happy of my discipline lately, no one else to blame but myself, I've been a bit cheeky, but I'm not being down about it, I'm making change man... 01.01.2022 Week 8 (85%) 200 Kilos 3 sets x 4 reps (1st set shown) ... Currently down about 4.5kgs in body weight over the past 4-5ish weeks. Sitting at 107ish mark. Need to get back down to that 100-102kg mark. Surprised with how this went, considering I was worried about how the deadlifts will go , as Mondays Squat session was a battle and a half Overall happy with how the week went, looking forward to battling again next week I don't usually train with singlets, if I do , I have a shirt underneat, today I thought f**k it, too damn hot.
