Teams will be rostered across the first 4 weeks, with 4 Teams competing each week. These first Rounds will see new Teams vs new Teams, and existing Teams vs existing Teams. Each weekly Round will see the 4 rostered Teams go head-to-head, each Team competing in 9 individual Games. Only 2 Teams out of the 4 can make it through to future Rounds, leading up to the Semi Final in Week 7 and the Grand Final in Week 8. We have 15 Teams registered with 1 position remaining. 22.01.2022 GOOD NEWS At the direction of QLD Health, we will reopen under our current COVID Safe Plan. Thankfully we already meet the requirements of all but one directive, that which requires everyone to wear a face mask at all times.... If you cannot or will not wear a face mask at all times, then unfortunately for now we cannot accommodate you. So for the immediate future until otherwise directed, please note the following when visiting: When anywhere inside (this includes the indoor car park) you must wear a mask at all times When outside the venue (and only when outside) if you can maintain 1.5m distance from others, then you do not need to wear a mask If you have a full face mask that you usually wear on field, then this is sufficient as a face mask We will reopen as usual for all sessions from Thursday 14th January. Full information from QLD Health as below: The Greater Brisbane region will transition to eased restrictions at 6:01pm today, following a weekend lockdown enacted to contain any potential spread of the UK variant of COVID-19. The restrictions are similar to Stage 3 restrictions Queensland saw in July last year and will be in place at least until 1am 22 January. You will be allowed to leave your home for any purpose. The following gathering restrictions are in place to keep you and others safe: You must carry a mask at all times. Masks must be worn in indoor places including shopping centres and supermarkets, gyms, places of worship, libraries, public transport, and taxis and rideshare vehicles. Masks must be worn in workplaces if social distancing isn’t possible and it’s safe to do so. You don’t need to wear a mask in private vehicles, while outdoors at a safe distance from other people or if you’re doing strenuous exercise. Businesses and venues can have one person per 4m indoors and one person per 2m outdoors. Smaller venues up to 200m can have one person per 2m up to a maximum of 50. You must be seated to eat and drink, and no dancing is allowed except at weddings. Gatherings are restricted to 20 people in homes and public spaces. Weddings and funerals can have up to 100 people, and dancing is allowed at weddings without restrictions. Indoor concert venues and theatres can operate at 50% capacity or one person per four square metres, whichever is greater. Outdoor stadiums can operate at 50% capacity with COVID-safe plans. If you wear a paintball style mask (full face mask) then you don’t need to double-up whilst on the field, but you will need to swap out to the standard surgical style mask as you come off the field. ... If you wear glasses or goggles, then you’ll need to wear a surgical style mask at all times, including when on the field. If you’re struggling to breathe at any time whilst wearing a surgical style mask, its acceptable to remove it to assist with breathing, and then replace. (Please remember that you cannot under any circumstance remove a full face mask or eyewear whilst on the field - exit the field completely to adjust or remove your full face mask or eyewear)
