16.01.2022 Community news has published profiles for all local government election candidates. My profile is as follows; Name: Hardeep Singh Ward contested (if applicable): Mason Ward Phone: 0426971093... Email: [email protected] Suburb of residence: Queens park Are you a member of a political party: No About me: I have served in Australian Army reserves as an officer cadet. It was such a great experience, the best in my life so far. The proud feeling to serve the nation is beyond all the luxuries of this world. Unfortunately, my career in army ended due to an on-duty knee injury. I have a masters degree in oil and gas engineering from UWA, bachelors in Mechanical engineering and works full time for BHP in Perth city office. I am married to the most beautiful girl I have ever met. She is a dentist and works for DB dental. We have recently built our dream home in Queens Park and enjoy being a member of Canning community. It is my passion to be a better person every day. So far, I have learned that helping others is the greatest joy and it is the best way to be better. Why Im running for council: When I arrived in Australia, I was treated with love and endless opportunities. I can never repay this country for its generosity. Running for council is a trivial attempt to contribute back to the community for the love and help I received over the last decade. I believe it is our combined responsibility to help make Australia a better place to live than it is today. I always like to start from the very basics and running for Canning council is something I feel passionate about. I have been fortunate enough to get good education and experience to work for some great companies. It makes sense to use my skills for the betterment of our community. I believe, my passion to give back to the community combined with my skills can make significant contribution to develop Canning towards a bright future for us all. My top three priorities if elected: To bring down our rates By helping in improving operating efficiency of Canning Council. Better transport and healthcare services for all. Making our city a safer place to live.

15.01.2022 Its been almost a year and I still get occasional thanks and a pat on the back for my work towards establishment of public toilets in Queens Park Reserve. It feels great and motivates to do more. City of Canning staff is extremely helpful especially Anita Amprimo (Executive manager Clean Canning) who looked after the project. If you are missing a crucial facility in your neighborhood, raise it with your council and dont let it go until it happens. Persistence pays off.
10.01.2022 Dear voters, thankyou for your support in council elections. 455 of our community members has placed their trust in me. It is this trust which will motivate me to work harder for community even though i have not been elected this time (short by 180 votes).

06.01.2022 One of the greatest pleasure in life is to help others and I am extremely thankful to God for making me able enough to do so. I came here as a student and today I am successful because of the love, support and opportunities Australians have provided me. Now it's my turn to give back! I announce with great pleasure that I have decided to run in the upcoming council elections. Stay tuned for more updates! Let's make canning a better place to live, play and grow.
06.01.2022 City of canning is going to increase our rates. The following notice was issued on 29th of June 2019. You can raise your concerns/objections within 21 days from notice issue date. Only few days left, speak up if you are not happy about it by sending an email to [email protected]. Do hold your local councillors accountable who promised not to increase rates when they came to you asking for votes. https://www.canning.wa.gov.au//notice-of-intention-to-levy
05.01.2022 A good old memory #AustralianArmy #OfficerCadet
04.01.2022 I have served in Australian Army reserves where values like integrity, honesty and community service are built into every soldier. My training as an officer cadet has taught me to take difficult decisions under stressful circumstances. We need a council who cares for the everyday issues faced by its residents and councillors need to support decisions for the greater good. I have a masters degree in oil and gas engineering from UWA and bachelors in Mechanical engineering. If ...elected, I will challenge and analyze every council policy, procedure and decision making to bring down our rates or at least maximize the value of services we are getting by paying hard earned money to council every year. I work full time at BHP and strongly believe that my knowledge and experience of working for world's biggest diversified resource company can add value to our council. See more
