08.01.2022 Through a selective scholarship program, HMEF lifts the educational outcomes and career aspirations of high potential girls who are experiencing socio-economic disadvantage. Scholarship support begins in Year 9 and is continually applied across 4 years (through year 12) to ensure the girls realise their full potential as they address critical education transition points. The multi-layered program is specifically designed around technology enablement, coaching, tutoring, and f...inancial relief. We focus on the needs of each recipient to ensure their families, schools, and broader communities can break the cycle of disadvantage and create future family and community leaders through better education outcomes. J-J finds all of the scholarship tools extremely helpful, especially having access to a laptop with internet connection to allow her to have better chances at learning and staying connected at home as well as school. J-J would like a career as a Biologist or in Earth and Environmental Law.
