24.01.2022 All You Can Eat Breakfast just $10 Sunday 1st December 7 am to 11am ****update****... The power is now not being switched off but we are still going ahead with the big breakfast! See you all here this sunday the 1st!!!! We will be doing our All you can eat breakfast during this time! $10 gets you a bottomless plate of the following Bacon, eggs, tomato, mushroom, baked beans, hash browns, sausage and fresh toast Seats are limited but there is plenty of time. Feel free to call us on the day to confirm how busy we are :-) Thanks

23.01.2022 ***We regret to advise you all that Hardwicke Bay Cafe & General Store will be closing and last day of trade is Saturday 7th December.*** We apologise for the late notice. As the property is for commercial sale, we feel this is best decision for our family.... Hopefully a new property and business owner will be here without much delay. We will arrange home delivery of ordered papers with affected local residents. Also looking at possibly arranging pizza delivery from Zander's Pizzahouse in Yorketown to Warooka, Point Turton & Hardwicke Bay areas so local pizza customers aren't impacted. We will do everything we can to reduce the impact of shop closure to local residents. As a family, we're continuing to reside in Hardwicke Bay for foreseeable future. This is our home, we love this town and will continue to be involved with Progress Association and community as much as possible. We would like to thank all our loyal customers for their support over the last three years and hope you will continue to support us at Archie's Bistro & Zander's Pizzahouse in Yorketown. (Aaron & I both purchased these...so accidentally ended up with double needed...oops!) 10.01.2022 ***Do you buy or order newspapers from us weekly? Or, are you a summer resident / holiday maker who buys newspapers during your stays?*** If yes, PLEASE READ THIS.... ***We WILL be selling Sunday Mails as per usual on this Sunday 8th Dec 9am to 12noon, as we're still on premises.*** (ONLY newspapers, coffee & food sales etc will NOT be available.) Starting from Monday 9th Dec until shop is under new management, I'm collecting newspapers from Minlaton & running home delivery service for residents / holiday makers within Hardwicke Bay & Brentwood townships. Delivery times will be between 8am & 10am and will be a FREE delivery service. A safe drop spot at homes will be arranged when ordering. A collection point can be arranged for otherwise located customers if required. Newspaper orders will be prepaid weekly or as alternatively arranged. If you are wishing to continue purchasing Advertisers / Australians / Country Times and/or Sunday Mails, I've designed forms to fill out with your details. Please come in and fill out your details this week or on Sunday for future orders. (And prepay for next weeks paper deliveries or make alternative arrangement) Alternatively, you can Facebook message us. If you are holidaying etc ie: over Christmas, please message this page when you know dates and I can arrange newspaper delivery service on those dates.
