17.01.2022 Loving the new way to get the kids attention when we are not home. Have just finished installing a new Hills XR Pro alarm panel with self monitoring and notifications over the NBN network at no extra cost. We have programmed up one of the automation features to a secondary internal screamer outside the 3 boys bedrooms, and if they are having a lazy morning and can’t hear their phones ringing or if we need to talk to them for some reason and they just have their phones on silent and don’t know we are trying to get hold of them, we can just tap the icon Get Kids Attention and it activates an ear piercing screamer to let them them know someone needs to call me ASAP before I lose my . love it!

14.01.2022 Finally....... over 3 weeks of waiting for Epson to get a new shipment of lamps in, we are back up and running. The original lamp did well though getting just over 3700 hrs on normal viewing mode. Now...... what to watch first? 08.01.2022 Here’s the finished photos of a job recently completed for a customer of ours. There are some sweet KRIX in-ceiling speakers built into the bulk head. The 3 fronts are KRIX Atmospherix A20, these baffles (behind the flush mount grill) are on a 20 degree angle facing back towards the listener, this means less sound is reflected off walls and other surfaces. Your experience is clearer, there is a more three-dimensional soundstage, better definition for music listening, more art...iculate dialogue, and more realistic and involving sound effects in movies. The rear 2 are made up of KRIX Atmospherix AS’s, part of the Krix Architectural Series, these speakers will involve you in their sound, while disappearing, to be heard, but not seen. To compliment this 5.1 setup the customer has opted to go with the Seismix 3 MK7, which is not only capable of effortlessly producing seriously deep bass for your home theatre or sound system, the Seismix 3 Mk7 is compatible with KRIX’s soon to be released Bluetooth adaptor, so you can place this Sub anywhere in your room without having to run a cable. The Bluetooth adaptor can be used in conjunction with any AV receiver that has a sub woofer port on the back. There are another 3 pairs of KRIX Helix in the Alfresco and BBQ area, these Helix speakers feature weather resistant materials and a rust resistant, stainless steel grilles, the semi-enclosed construction measures a minimal 86mm mounting depth, which means it can fit in places many other speakers won’t. It has a large 150mm bass driver with oversized magnet, and 20mm dome tweeter, the dual concentric configuration guarantees uniform sound coverage in all directions. We also finished off the job with a pair of Tropix covering sound for the swimming pool outside. We had 4 zones in total, which was powered by Yamaha MusicCast, a great solution to an installation such as this. As for the UHD player going in the family 5.1 area, that’s still to be decided on by the customer as the Oppo he loved so much has seen its last days. @ Adelaide, South Australia
