18.01.2022 Last night was full of excitement, surprise and laughter at The Aussie with our Friday night Harlequins Cricket Club Gympie Goose Club Raffle with 13 prizes - a...ll going to our lucky winners! Congratulations! We then had a surprise visit from Gympie Historical Re-enactment Association who dropped in to entertain our locals, diners and visitors to the Mary Valley Rattler . Thankyou to all involved and what a wonderful night! See you soon at The Aussie!

14.01.2022 G'day Everyone, With season 2020/21 on the horizon, I am calling on some helpers to tackle a few odd jobs this Saturday morning (September 5th) from 7:30am, as ...listed below. 1. Install insulation to the underside of the clubhouse front veranda roof. (With the clubhouse now air conditioned this will create a perfect summer hideaway to watch some cricket.) 2. Vital repairs and safety upgrades to our training nets. (Install netting to limit stray balls returning out the bowling end of the net, install ropes to prevent balls heading over the top of the net dividers, install screening to the rear of the nets for greater visibility, repair bowling run ups.) 3. Other odd jobs Sheppo cooks up. Can you please text Brad (0409 424 577) or comment below if you are available to help out, as it would be hoped that this would be in the interest of the whole cricket playing community. This event will be cancelled if there is a lack of helpers to not overburden a small group of volunteers on the day, meaning all cricketers miss out.

10.01.2022 Gympie Regional Cricket Association's Presentation for Junior and Senior Cricket is being held on 10th April from 5.30pm at the One Mile Clubhouse. Junior prese...ntations will kick off first followed by dinner before proceedings are wrapped up for the 2020-21 season with the senior presentations. Cost per head is $10 although Life Members, invited sponsors and Cow Corner members are free of charge. Please RSVP by 6th of April at [email protected]

07.01.2022 We are so pleased with the great reviews we have received about the food and the new vibe in the place. The lovely and talented Pepper Jane entertaine...d everyone on Saturday night and we hope to encourage her to be a regular feature on weekends. We also want to give a big thanks to the locals who came to welcome us, it was wonderful to see everyone having so much fun. There was even a few locals dancing on Friday Night, not mentioning any names, Amanda Stevenson, it was such a fun night. Shame I didn't get any photos but my phone died. Not to worry I am sure you will be back. Also want to give a shout out to the local lads that were back first day we opened, your loyalty is much appreciated, without you guys there would be no Aussie. So all in all the first weekend was a great success. we were busier than we thought we would be, which was great and we have plans to make the Aussie even better. So keep a watch on our page for all the news.

07.01.2022 Harlequins AGM will be held next Monday the 27/07/20, 4pm at the Aussie Hotel. Could everyone please try to get there as there are number of items that need to be discussed regarding the upcoming season. Everyone welcome.

02.01.2022 There is nothing better than a Sunday Roast, especially during the winter months and the Aussie does it well with succulent Roast Lamb on offer this week, with ...lots of vegetables and tasty gravy.
