Our local hospital system has been in the forefront in the world on testing. So our case numbers are way up. Still as a percentage, less deadly than flu, and that has a vaccine. Strange days we are living in. Florida had 300 areas reporting near 100% infection rate. They changed who they areas had to report results to, now the say 9% infection rate. Who knows with agenda pushing pollys at the helm. Never let a good crisis go to waste seems to be their motto.

16.01.2022 A lovely 1.5 hour ride for Ernest's 95th birthday. Around the bay to Portsea with a drop off for a family luncheon at the Rosebud Hotel. A great gentleman who rode a BSA 500cc side valve in Jerusalem in the second world war.

12.01.2022 More from Tex. We all have google, so getting drawn into a numbers debate is futile. I will say this. For some reason our states get federal money for each covid death and case. If one dies of a heart attack and has any symptom of covid, the death is classified covid without testing, the flu death numbers will drop as it is more profitable to classify a flu death as covid- many identical symptoms. No one denies this is a brutally bad ass virus. However, we will never kn...ow the true numbers as, like everything else, data is skewed to maximize funds and agenda. Also this is an election year and the worse it looks, the more hopes of ousting orange man. After there is a vaccine for covid, and years pass, and truths are unveiled, I think then an apples to apples debate would be fair. In the end, the flu will have a much higher mortality rate than covid, even without a covid vaccine. See more
