I use this recipe from choosing chia as I usually have the ingredients at home & if not I play around to resemble something similar .... ... 08.01.2022 It’s because calories in verse calories out is out dated for long term weight loss! This may work in the short term or when your hormonal gut health is in a balanced state but it will not be as simple as calories in verse calories out in the long term when other lifestyle factors come into play like hormonal disturbance, chronic stress & disordered gut health. If weight loss was as simple as the equation above then most people would be at their ideal weight or be able to get... there easily. Your ideal weight will also be dependant on your unique mind-body constitution. Having a false sense of what it realistic for your genetic make up or comparing yourself to others only puts you on that whole negative feedback loop preventing you from getting to your bodies ‘ideal’ healthy weight. The more negative thoughts you have about your body, the more you trigger the sympathetic nervous system to act in a stress response, releasing stress hormones which can impact sex hormones, creating an imbalanced state. Your body protecting you from the ‘stressful event’ holds onto your fat stores in an order to ‘protect’ you. You see, the cycle keeps perpetuating...
