Today marks the start of our new campaign 'Teen Sleep Matters' - to ensure young people value the importance of sleep for their physical and men...tal wellbeing, empower them with knowledge around sleep and feel confident to take the first steps towards making a positive change. As part of this campaign, we launch our brand new Teen Sleep Hub packed full of information, science and practical tips including a downloadable eBook that has been guided by our fantastic Youth Advisory Panel. We've been able to develop this resource thanks to funding received from the National Lottery Community Fund and Coronavirus Mental Health Response Fund (administered by the charity, Mind, in partnership with the Mental Health Consortia). Sleep support has never been more needed and this is a resource aimed at teens - not their parents. 19.01.2022 Mixed emotions as we hit half term at The Harnony Centre - firstly it has been a tough one with some real highs and lows ( esp in the last week !) but we made it ! So a big thank you to all the amazing staff , students and families .... but ... we know some of our young people really struggle with a change of routine and so a half term holiday can be a really hard time . Remember we are on the end of the phone if you need us . Stay safe everyone x

19.01.2022 We are still looking for a self employed secondary English teacher / tutor for three mornings a week 9.30-12 ( with the possibility to increase hours) to work on key stage 3 and GCSE curriculum. Please spread the word !

18.01.2022 A very big well done to our students that did their GCSEs this year . Exceptional circumstances and tricky times but we are proud of you all . A huge thank you to those staff that helped pull together the evidence and data that we needed to submit . I truely hope that next year is more straightforward !!!!! Now for a glass of fizz and feet up !!

13.01.2022 What a great first full week back ! Lots of new and old faces and some great work done by all - both academic and social . We welcome two new teaching assistants to the team enabling us to offer even more support to our young people. We are currently supporting the most students we ever have and couldn’t do it without the support of the staff, families and friends of Harmony . Thank you all !

08.01.2022 TIKTOK YOU TUBE ALSO If your child or yourself use tiktok to watch videos please take their device away from them for 72 hours. Come off tiktok yoursel...f too. There is a video going around you literally only need to open tiktok to see it, of a man live streaming his suicide. Someone has took the video is now sharing this over Tiktok with the link attached so you can psychically watch it, you do not need to verify your age before you watch it !!! He takes a gun and shots himself in the face. Please for the safety of your child take their devices away. Tiktok are apparently aware of the situation The man has long hair and beard with glasses if you see the image come off! PLEASE DO NOT GO SEARCHING FOR THE VIDEO IT IS NOT SOMETHING YOU WANT TO WATCH AND HAVE IN YOUR MIND !

03.01.2022 Good morning all, I am posting in the hope just someone might be able to help.... We are currently located in office space in Maidenhead. Everything is great EXCEPT our location. We are actively searching for a more rural environment with outside space and sole occupancy. We can’t be too far from Maidenhead because of distance for our students.

02.01.2022 The competition for the end of term Harmony Bake off is getting tense ! There are even discussions of show stoppers ! Wednesday is the day and I have to say I am quite looking forward to the judging part . Watch this space!
